Very fun and informative tour of everything made in Aruba. We visited an Aloe plantation, Terrafuse art gallery, cigar makers and rum producers. Ouu guide was Ruben and he was excellent. Very knowledgeable and a joy to spend our vacation time with. This was my favorite excursion by far.

Where to start... our guide was Reuben, he was wonderful, funny, informative, overall a great guide to have! We ended up being the only ones this day for the tour, which was great! Went to Aruba Aloe, asked if we wanted to go to AYO or Casibari rock, we had already been to Casibari, so we chose AYO. He walked/hiked with us giving us the background on everything. We went to small place where they make cigars. Extremely nice people. Got to see the process. Stopped by Studio Murano Art and saw them doing glasswork, so amazing very nice people there as well. Got lunch while there, was very good. After that we went to do rum tastings. We had told Reuben we liked rum, don't think he really believed us until we got there and started tasting! We tasted just about all the rum! Highly recommend this tour!

Positives: Leon did a great job as our tour guide. Friendly, funny and cared about needs.
The Aloe tour was wonderful. Lots of explanation about how the products are made as well as a demonstration of how some Aloe is processed. Staff was very knowledgeable about all the products. The glass blowing was interesting but I had seen it done before. But they did a very nice job. Rum tasting was fun! Lots of rum to choose from and all of our group had a great time.
Negatives: Terrafuse glass and ceramic had been taken off the tour, but there was no mention of it at booking. I was extremely disappointed as that was my top reason for going. Leon took us to the gold ruins to fill in, but frankly, there was no comparison with that vs. art. We should have been told up front and offered a discount as this was not a last minute decision to not go to Terrafuse. I also feel that all the stairs at the Aloe facility and the bleacher seating at glass blowing should be mentioned. I was quite able to do it, but someone with any injury or elderly would have a difficult time.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I’m glad to hear that Leon made your tour enjoyable.
Unfortunately, Terrafuse is currently on vacation and will reopen in two weeks. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
On your next visit, please let us know in advance and I’ll be happy to arrange for Leon to take you to Terrafuse.

Enjoyed our tour today with Leon. Would recommend this outing for couples and groups looking for something different from the sun and sand. This tour was a great opportunity to meet people and see their contribution to this beautiful island. Bring money to shop, and your questions. There is so much to see and enjoy (plus lunch) on this tour. You won’t be disappointed

Rueben, our guide, was great. I would absolutely recommend this tour-it takes you to hidden gems that other tours don’t cover, and the rum tasting at the end was a fantastic bonus!

It was a lot of fun. Aruba is beautiful and we have been here a number of times. Decided to do this tour. First tour we ever did. However, since it was a Holy Day, the Aloe Factory and Cigar Rolling Place were not fully staffed. I would have loved to see the Aloe Factory in action. Leon, our tour guide for the day was awesome, Knowledgeable, and interesting. Able to answer any questions thrown at him. Rum tasting was a great way to end your. Included a light lunch too before getting tipsy on rum.

Ruben was a awesome tour guide. Made traveling so much easier. Very knowledgeable pf the island and answered all questions. Very hands on with your experiences
Bert_V, May 2025
Reuben (like the sandwich, he said) was the best tour guide! If you want to see small, local stores & artists instead of the shops right by the cruise ships, this one is the one to do! Love supporting local businesses.
Thomas_G, Mar 2025
to love rum, enjoy the sun and wear comfortable shoes. tons of fun and great education of the island
Chris_M, Feb 2025
Ruben was very informative and kept the history facts coming. It was great to see real Aruban treasures outside of the traditional tourist spots.
karen_m, Feb 2025
Wonderful low key tour. We had a total of 5 of us on the tour and Ruben was our tour guide . Each stop was great. I loved that the tour felt like we had a friend driving us around showing us a few spots. We got to see two old men making homemade cigars, even got to taste a fruit from their tree. The last stop the was rum tasting ..Jerry was a sweet Colombian lady who was so friendly letting us taste all types of rum… these stops felt like it was only something the locals knew about. Ruben was a great tour guide ! Thanks Ruben!!

Rubin was amazing. One of the best excursions I’ve had in Aruba. Definitely recommend this to anyone
Jane_C, Jan 2025

STEVE_R, Jan 2025
Leon was an excellent tour guide and we learned a lot about products made in Aruba. The bus was very comfortable and he was a good driver.
Megan_B, Dec 2024
This tour was amazing! We stopped at local businesses that had Arubian made products. Everyone was so friendly! Many stops and Lionel was our tour guide. He was very very nice and informative. You could tell the places we stopped knew him like family. If you want to support local businesses please choose this tour!

8 am pickup became 8:40 but on the Island being on time is not always done. We did a lady who does small glass blowing that was very interesting, then a cigar making smoke shop..all hand rolled , then another glass blowing shop “murano was the name not associated with the Murano in Italy. Expensive … then a Rum tasting place you could and would not find. Tasting 15 or more rum mix’s, we ate a chicken roll and fries ( the lunch provided ) at Murano glass and luncheon shop. Been to Aruba 14 times and this was the first tour .

Reuben was our tour guide. Really cool, laid back gentleman. We started at the Aruba Aloe production plant and received a tour of the area. After, we visited an art studio of a husband wife duo (I believe the wife's name was Helen). She showed us around their studio, giving background on some of their pieces, and provided us with a free keychain as a token. Afterwards, we were taken to a cigar shop where we were shown and told the process of how Arubans produce cigars. Next, we went to Murano Art, a glass blowing business, and was given a demonstration of how they produce their pieces (really loved their pieces and appreciated the dedication and work they put into producing such beautiful art). We took a break there after the demo for lunch (included with tour) which was fresh and very delicious.
Our last stop on the tour was an Aruban Rum shop, where we did a tasting of multiple rum flavors and then were able to purchase if we chose. I really enjoyed Reuben, the other attendees, as well as all others we met at the different stops. It was such an enjoyable excursion and one I won't forget because the energy was so good and everyone, including myself, had a great time.

Ruben was an excellent guide. Very professional, knowledgeable & personable. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting each location and learning about the local products and art. Lunch was very tasty, too. I recommend this tour for first timers as well as returning visitors, like me, who want to learn more about the island and its people.
