The river cruise was great on a hot day but the staff social skills need work

The river cruise itself was worth it and I would definitely recommend on a hot day when you're visiting Oxford, however the staff's customer service skills could use some serious work. I walked up to the office where no less than three employees stood there staring at me blankly. When I finally asked who needs to scan my ticket, I was directed into the office and the person who served me looked down and mumbled the entire time. I couldn't understand a word he was saying and had to ask him to repeat himself continually. On another note, while the boat was perfectly adequate for the cruise it was looking like it had seen better days and could use a bit of care. For example, some of the benches were no longer bolted down so they moved when we got up or were rickety when we sat down and some of the woodwork looked very weathered and in need of replacing.

Hi Easy website, great communication from the pretty girl who works in Salters booking office in Oxford . Guys on the boat helpful and commentary on the history of our trip was loud and clear. Hoping to book again soon
