Overview

Learn all about wild wolves while contributing to their conservation with this educational tour at the non-profit White Wolf Sanctuary. Your visit will start with a 45-minute-long presentation on wolves, followed by a guided tour of the forested wolf sanctuary, where you'll see wolf habitats first-hand and have the chance to ask questions from your expert guide.

      Tour time is 1:00 p.m. We will meet at 10076 E Alsea Hwy Tidewater, Oregon 97390 this is the Old Tidewater gas station at the bottom of our private entrance. If you have booked a tour and need additional directions or assistance please call 541-609-7771 and a tour coordinator will assist you.

    • Infants must sit on laps
    • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
    • The weather does vary. We recommend dressing for cool, possibly wet weather. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Our road is not suitable for low profile vehicles such as sports cars. Pets are not allowed on the sanctuary grounds.

    The wolves are gorgeous. The lecture was informative. Hearing the wolf bark and howl was wonderful. I'm only sorry we made him uncomfortable. We really enjoyed the experience, rain and all.

    I understand this is a wildlife reserve for the wolves , but for the high prices, I was expecting to see more of the wolves. One only saw the one white wolf that was obviously in the small hot hot pen so we could say we saw one ! It was a very hot day also so that may be why they were hiding . I just think you should have more interaction with them somehow for the price ! The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable !

    I learned about the necessity of maintaining a wolf population to preserve our ecological balance. Wolves are NOT a threat to humans. They are very misunderstood. Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Pigs lied. LOL
