We saw eagles, harbor seals, and an osprey’s nest. Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient. Don’t hesitate, just do it!

Calm, relaxing kayak up Chetco River. Sight many birds, sealions and fish jumping out of water. Guide really cool guy. Mellow, patient and easy to talk too. Helped me to feel comfortable - no rush and did not mind when I accidently bumped his kayak at times. Very knowledgeable of the local area, animals, fauna, river conditions and whiskey bars.
Highly recommend for beginners.
Also, my doggie joined me. She was nervous but did not jump out of kayak - tx god!!!!

It was so awesome! The guide was very nice and super helpful, it was our first time kayaking and he was super patient. The river is beautiful and it was so relaxing. Totally worth it id you’ve been thinking about going

Very relaxing trip. Seals and birds keep an eye on you. Our guide April was perfect for us novices and full of information. Providing us with pictures and video to document our trip was the best.
