This is the best cooking class you will ever attend. Theddy the chef is knowledgeable and so funny. You will be laughing and enjoying yourself the entire evening. I learned so much. It was also wonderful eating our dinner on the beach with the cooking group. We had so much fun. Definitely recommend this excursion while on vacation or for an evening out if you’re a local. 😊

Awesome experience with Teddy. Highly knowledgeable, fun and had such a wonderful time. Prepared the food and then as a group we ate it on the beach. Beautiful view and we loved the experience. Thank you Teddy and your girls . This class was brilliant . Five star!
Cooking on the beach was fantastic. Chef Teddy was so engaging and made our afternoon so much fun. We prepared 8 courses then ate on the beach over sunset. Such a wonderful experience.
We had a fantastic time at the cooking class! It was fun, interactive and we learnt lots. We got so much food we struggled to eat half of it and we could take our left overs back to the hotel too!! It was amazing
We had an amazing experience at the cooking class at Kekeb Restaurant! Chef Teddy made the entire class so much fun with his fantastic sense of humour, easy-to-follow instructions, and interactive, hands-on teaching style. We learnt how to cook 10 delicious Balinese dishes, and every recipe was absolutely incredible. We also got to keep a book of all the recipes to prepare for future dishes at home!
You can tell there's so much preparation happening behind the scenes to make everything run seamlessly, allowing you to simply enjoy the experience. To top it all off, they even had someone taking photos and videos throughout the class, so we could stay in the moment and still have wonderful memories to take home. Finishing by enjoying the feast we had cooked ourselves on the beautiful beachfront was the perfect ending. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bali!
What a wonderful experience to cook with Teddy our chef for the evening beachside. Teddy was a great teacher who walked our family of 6 through the process of chopping, making a paste with those chopped ingredients and then cooking with them. We would highly recommend this cooking experience as it was such a fun time. Eating the delicious dishes we made while the sun went down beachside was really special too. Thanks Teddy!
What a great activity. Not only do you cook a range of tasty Balinese dishes but you also learn the traditional processes and some of the culture behind the foods. Making pastes from scratch was a fun”workout” and so much tastier than the bottles from home. So much food to share after in a picturesque setting. Thank you to the team at KEKAB for a great afternoon.
An excellent afternoon spent learning traditional Balinese style cooking. Highly recommend this if you are spending time in Nusa Dua.
Picked up from our hotel and brought to Nusa Dua for class. Jim and his team were super friendly, helpful and well organised and explained all produce. Cook book too to take home.

Fabulous cooking experience. learned about Indonesian food. Host was very friendly and always singing to the music.
Couldn’t eat all the food as was so much but all was delicious.
What an awesome experience. It was extremely fun, interactive and a wonderful immersion of delicious authentic Balinese cuisine! I felt extra special since I was the only participant and Teddy was attentive to every detail in explaining,demonstrating and communicating clear instructions. We made 10 different foods and they all were DELICIOUS! I was blown away that we were done in the 2 hour allotted time. A must do when in Nusa Dua
This was very fun. Teddy was a great chef who taught us a lot. He and his assistants were very helpful and patient, and funny! At first, it seemed like four hours was going to be quite a long time but it’s actually 10 different dishes and you cook for about three hours, the last hour is eating on the beach. The atmosphere is great, there’s live music. We all loved it - even my two teenagers.

Great fun, great location and LOTs of food ! Teddy our chef was knowledgeable and friendly. We cooked on the beach which was very cool ! And we cooked over 10 different dishes, definately value for money !
My sister and I paid $75 each for a cooking class on the beach at Kekeb restaurant with a trip to the market. This was much more expensive than the usual classes which average around $35. Kekeb took a large private group and sent us to a restaurant in town with very steep stairs to go upstairs. I am disabled and this was very difficult for me. Our class was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much but I feel we are owed about $80 for the change in venue. Final blow was our young driver to take us back to our hotel got lost and our 20 minute ride took an hour after driving thru dark alleys and over about 30 speed bumps. I would give the chef and our class 5 stars but the snafu in our paid for class 0 stars.
I had an amazing experience at the cooking class. Teddy was very helpful and patient. He really explained the dishes well. 10/10 would recommend
What an absolutely phenomenal class! Not only did I have the opportunity to learn about multiple different dishes, but I also learned so much about the culture and history of Bali and Indonesia. Teddy and the other instructors were delightful, teaching with both enthusiasm and humor. As if the class weren’t amazing enough, the setting, just off the beach, but in the shade of a large tree, was superb. Topping it all off, dining on the beach, enjoying the meal prepared during the class! What a joy. I highly recommend this experience if you’re looking for a cooking class.
