The tour is set in beautiful area with amazing views of the mountains. Our guide, Thanh, took very good care of our large group and gave us nice history of the sites we were visiting. Our lunch was home cooked and delicious. The boat ride is well worth the wait, it’s very peaceful and the temples are beautiful. We finished with the hike up to the dragon. 500 steps is a lot and many underestimated the effort required. There is a small snack shop at approximately the 300 steps level. Even if you don’t make the top it’s worth the effort. I made it to the shop and rested while Petting the goats. Highly recommended tour.

We had a great tour around Ninh Binh, Tam Coc and Trang An with the best and most happiest guide, Thanh. She explained the culture and history of the region and answered all our questions. We had plenty of time at each site. We thoroughly enjoyed our full day tour.

This was a large group NOT small, there was no space on the mini van and we had to ride in a car all squashed in with 6 other people. Also there was no sunset view, we were home before the sun set.

Good tour for key sights in limited time

We enjoyed our tour around Ninh Binh! The amount of time at each location felt right and our guide was informative. A good way to explore the key sights in Ninh Binh if your time is limited. Only comments would be that more communication from the company around pick up time would be helpful - I messaged after our pick up time had come and gone as I was getting nervous that they weren’t coming. Pick ups and drop offs took a lot of time (about 2 hrs of the tour time), and our tour guide got dropped home before we did which we thought was a little bizarre.

De toer was niet zoals geboekt! Alles was anders zonder ons vooraf te informeren. We hadden een kleine gemoedelijke toer geboekt maar ter plekke werd de tour aangepast, was de groep groot en het tempo niet relaxt. Eigenlijk zoals we niet wilden! We gingen naar een andere tempel. Hadden maar 40(!) minuten bij Mua Cave en de bootje toch bij Trang An was na zonsondergang en dus volledig in het donker!
