Overview

A perfect outing the whole family can enjoy – picking mikan, Japanese mandarin oranges, on a hillside just a 20 minute walk from Osaka’s Kami no Taishi station. Over 10,000 mikan trees are planted at Kansai’s biggest orchard, and the views are great for photo opportunities as you pick all-you-can-eat mikan.

Beautiful Mountain Drive

It was well worth the money to have a driver for 1/2 day. We chose to go up to the lake further in the mountains from Nikko, to several waterfalls, kanmangafuchi Abyss, and finally to get dropped off at Toshi Shrine. Ogazawara was an excellent driver in those windy roads. He also knew exactly the best spots to take us. He even suggested for us to take a path next to a waterfall and he met us at the bottom. This was an experience we won't have had without his suggestion. We even saw wild monkeys along side the road that he pointed out. All in alll it worked out perfectly.

Perfect custom made tour

The driver was excellent. We didn’t know much about Nikko but we wanted half historical and half nature rich tour so he came up with our custom made plan. He also was very attentive to our needs and concerns. Our car was very comfortable and clean. We knew he wasn’t a licensed guide but we like it that way because sometimes the licences guide talks so much and overwhelm us with so much information. It was nice he gave us a space we need so that we could enjoyed ourselves. If you are a short in time and don’t want to join a large group tour, we highly recommend this private transfer tour.
