Enjoyed our walk round the old town. Was a very good introduction to Nice. Interesting architecture, market and castle.

It became a private tour with just 2 of us as the other 4 in the group did not turn up. We started a bit late waiting for them. Pamela walked us through the main areas in Old Nice and provided lots of food recommendations, and gave us some free time (~15 min) to explore Cours Soleya Market. The Socca was great! The restaurant and gelato she recommended were also good. Overall nice activity and Pamela was able to share more if we asked questions. Would have appreciated if there were more sharings on the history and significance of the places we visited/passed by.
A very informative tour that took us all around the Old Town. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made much effort to make sure everyone was accounted for but not over exerting - she brought us to the elevator to go up the Colline de Chateau! I held back a star not because of the guide but because when the tour started the guide announced it was a free tour and we had paid €44 to Viator. I hope they in turn paid her as we were not prepared to pay twice

No communication about getting to Nice from Villefranche cruise port. Missed tour as only taxi was overwhelmed.
I love doing a walking tour when we first arrive to be able to see where we want to go and explore further, get the lay of the land if you will. Our guide was very nice and I don't fault him for this lack luster tour. It was only 4 of us which was even better but Nice is just so small and there isn't a ton of fascinating history to make the tour worthwhile. We basically did a full circle, killed time in the market which was unnecessary since we had just started the tour and ended at Castle Hill which I thought was more than just a wall. He had some interesting facts but not worth the 2 hours to do the tour.
This ended up being a beautiful little private tour of Nice, as my husband and I were the only two booked on this specific day. Our guide did an excellent job of showing us the must-see spots and attractions of this quaint city, including pointing out some of its most famous past residents such as Paganini and Matisse. We really enjoyed being able to dialogue with her about the best restaurants and shops, places with a view, and historic highlights. The length of the tour was perfect, as it was fairly hot on the day we were booked, and she skillfully moved us from shady spot to shady spot with adequate breaks and recommendations to make the most out of our short time in beautiful Nice.

Great way to start your time in Nice old Town. Pamela presented interesting historical facts of the community and left us with list of museums, stores and restaurants to try. Highly recommend
The views from Castle Hill were breath taking.
