Great way to visit Monaco from Nice. Travel in this smart speed boat to the port, take your time exploring the city of Monaco. Highlights were the changing of the guard at the Palace at 11:55 and the views every which way we turned on our walk. On the trip back to Nice the captain gives you lovely information about the places you see along the coast. Great trip.

Get there early as there was a flood of people getting on the boat and they are rude and pushy. Bring your own map as they don’t provide you with any details on how to get over to Monte Carlo.

Two glasses of champagne on the ferry were 49 euros. Way too much. They should have had the prices listed if it's that high. Only three people on board had a drink 🍸 On the way back, halfway back to Nice, a crew member asked to see our tickets. He didn't ask anyone else, and we had sho e out tickets to board. On the good side, the Charlotte was beautiful, brand new. Also, everything was on time.

Great way to get a view of the coast and a trip into Monaco. It docks in Port de Fontville, so keep that in mind for your hiking and walking. Walking around Monaco is very vertical. Smooth crew, right on time and a very genial bunch.

Very impressed with the staff & crew of the boat during our journey to & from Monaco, friendly, funny and great commentary... however, a few things that we found could be improved: no air circulation or AC inside the boat (everyone was very hot even before we arrived in Monaco)... this was not helped by the lack of any shade or shelter for people lined up to board the ferry after validating their tickets at the registration kiosk. Also, in Monaco for the return trip, there was no queueing system, people were just allowed to push their way to the front of the line when the boat arrived. The boat should have been waiting for passengers at least 30 min before departure to allow staff to coordinate a more organized re-boarding experience. (This is how it's done with most cruises/ferries in other cities/countries).

Nice to Monaco Ferry

The Captain and Staff were very friendly. The Captain gave some historical and geographical facts over the ferry’s PA during the journey. The cruise was smooth and the landscape beautiful. The Monaco port was very picturesque and the walk into the city centre was long with poor signage. The HoHo bus is a must do especially to the castle to see the changing of the guard. There are 2 ports and it is easy to get lost in the other port. Getting to the port for the ferry so as to not miss it, for us required a taxi. A must do experience.

This was a great trip. Very prompt and a quick trip to Monaco. The crew were very helpful and good. A rough trip back but we warned by the crew incase we wanted an alternative to the boat. Again the crew were safety conscious and we also saw the little bays as outlined in the description

Ferry ride was great, in fact better than Monaco itself…..the crew is professional, seats are comfortable, you have toilet & food & drink options on board & please do carry your motion sickness medicines if you have motion sickness as the waves can get pretty rough. A good way to get in & get out & you have the hop on & hop off bus stop near the port so you can just get a ticket & spend your day in Monaco before returning back.

Unique experience by the sea

The location to take the boat is very convenient from Nice. However, it arrives to the Monaco’s pier so you need to take a bus or walk to go to The famous casino. It was already hot in May. The trip was wonderful with majestique views and interesting commentary both ways, but my main suggestion is to have different times for return trips back to Nice. It’s a long day if you aren’t eating or shopping. Also, museums were full of kids on school trips, which caused slow moving on the already narrow streets, long waits at ice cream shops, small train and oceanic museum.
