Take the early morning trip, it is less busy at the weekend. We had a very good guide. Shan Who was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. It made the whole experience a joyful experience and he took the most wonderful photographs for us. An excellent day out. 20 out of 10👍

Azher was a great tour guide and was very informative. We had a great day but the only reason I wouldn’t give five stars is because we felt a bit taken aback when we were told we were going to see some of the local crafts only to find it was a shop where we felt very pressurised to buy something as it was just us and the shop keeper alone in a room. Lunch was delicious and we felt well looked after other than this, just don’t like feeling lied to.

Family trip to Taj Mahal from Delhi

We visited Taj Mahal and elephant tour yesterday. From start to finish the tour was great. Our driver (Arjun) was prompt and there was water and snacks available in the car. The tour guide was knowledgeable and able to help guide us for the best places for some beautiful pictures. Having him allowed us to get some really nice family pictures without paying extra. Really lovely day and highly recommend fot families.

It was my intention to NOT leave a review at all. But, since the tour company keeps writing to me, asking me to leave a review, here it is… The tours of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort were wonderful. The guide was informative, not overbearing, and presented the info that was easy to take in on such a busy trip. Let’s just say the hotel buffet was pleasant. The food was mostly bland, presumably to accommodate foreigners with varying tastes, but that was to be expected. Having recently visited an elephant sanctuary, I didn’t want to see another, and I asked the tour guide to ask the driver if we can cut the day short and head back to New Delhi. He was willing to accommodate, but first they made a surprise stop in which I knew nothing about, and here’s where things went bad… Without giving any notice, we pulled into the parking lot of a rug factory, and the tour guide said he wanted to show me something before we go. The tour guide and I entered the building, introduced me to the owner, told me that he wanted me to see how rugs are made, and then he ran off, leaving me alone with the factory owner The owner first showed me how the rugs are made, and then came the relentless sales pitch. I didn’t want to buy a rug. I never even suggested I’d be interested in buying one. And, I certainly didn’t ask to be there. But he wasn’t having it. He tried and tried, and I wouldn’t budge. This went on for at least 30 minutes. My patience eventually wore out, and I told him that I want to leave immediately. I was so angry with my tour guide, and was especially disappointed in myself for tipping him handsomely “before” we parted ways. I couldn’t look at him, and barely spoke a word in our remaining time together. I couldn’t even bring myself to thanking him at the end. What he did was completely unacceptable. Sales pitches and upselling are always expected, but this was more like they drove off the beaten path and held me hostage in a factory. You can’t do this to people. Sorry, I cannot recommend this company.

The driver, Jeetu, was very considerate, helpful and patient throughout the drive there and back. He really looked after us. The guide, Ehmad, was very informative and made the trip very interesting by telling us stories and showing us carvings/ views that we would not have fully appreciated otherwise. he took the time to take photos of all our group so we could take away memories. We would recommend this trip and definitely the driver and the guide.

Shaan was absolutely outstanding — passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. He truly made our experience special from start to finish. His storytelling brought every site to life, and his energy made the day so enjoyable. On top of that, he could honestly be a professional photographer — he knew all the best angles and captured amazing photos for us! Beyond being a great guide, he’s just a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. When my friends book this tour in the future, I’ll make sure they request him by name. Ikrar, our driver, was equally wonderful — professional, courteous, and an excellent driver. The car was very comfortable, and he made sure we always felt safe, relaxed, and taken care of throughout the long day. Together, they made this experience unforgettable. I had originally just booked this tour which was phenomenal. The tour company were exceptional at communicating with me. I decided to book a driver for the whole duration of my trip to Delhi, Mathura, Varindavan, Jaipur & Chandigarh & the tour company did not disappoint with providing Ashok the driver who was amazing, always communicating, on time & full of recommendations as to what I should see & do. My Taj experience was out of this world the whole family enjoyed the day Ahmed our guide at the Taj was very knowledgeable with the history & explained everything so well, he is also so good at taking some amazing photos, that you don't really need to book a photographer on the tour. He was very patient allowing my family to take photos & to take our time in seeing everything, we did not feel we were being rushed. In Mathura Jay our tour guide was also remarkable again explaining the history of Lord Krishna birth place in detail. Giving me & my family the VIP experience as we bypassed the queuing system & we got to spend more time in the temple which was a true treat. Our guide in Jaipur Vipin, his service was also outstanding & he was very helpful with accommodating the family. If you want to experience Jaipur the traditional way book Vipin. Shaan the owner of the company is so helpful he was always communicating & advising when needed. Taj Hoildays tour company are amazing & I highly recommend using them. I will definitely be booking with them when I visit India again. My family & myself would highly recommend Taj Hoildays tour company. If you want to experience North of India in a spectacular way.

Greatest solo excursion experience

This was a 20/10 experience not only from the excursions but bc of the host and driver. I’m a solo black female traveler so as you can imagine sometimes these experiences can be weird and uncomfortable especially traveling with a driver for example hrs by yourself. But this experience was great! The driver Arjun was on time, very accommodating, had snacks and water for the entire day. He was super nice made sure to ask and stop throughout the journey for restroom breaks, food, and local favorites. It was a 3hr drive each way and 1hr drive between the excursions. The host for Taj Mahal Shaan was great and I wish he could host all my excursions. He was super cool, informative, and accommodating even when he may not have realized (eg taking breaks to sit and talk about the history and culture bc it’s a lot of walking and a huge place with lots to see). Everything was taken care of from tickets to the shuttle ride etc. I just had to follow Shaan. He was super knowledgeable and shared much more than just the history of Taj Mahal but the history of the ppl the culture the practices and even his own background and connection. It was cool that he was that personable. There were photographers on sight he explained everything. I decided to pass bc I didn’t like their pictures but Shaan offered to take pics with my phone and they came out absolutely stunning. I loved all of them. He knew exactly where and what to capture so it was like two in one. The elephant sanctuary was cool bc I love elephants. It was sad hearing of their rescue. I wish I could’ve fed them or something. The host there was a little nervous but warmed up over time. He was really sweet and informative. My driver Arjun was with me all day and he was greats I felt safe and slept on the ride back.

I highly recommend this tour, it was well worth it!!! My husband and I plus one additional friend booked this tour. We were picked up in Delhi by Arjun. He was very prompt and courteous and his car was well kept and clean, plus AC was already on and car was very comfortable. Arjun was very nice and a good driver. We met up with our tour guide in Agra, his name is Shaan. He took us to Taj Mahal. He is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Taj Mahal and Agra history. I would highly recommend him as a guide for your tour in order to have a great experience. We also went to an art place and finally the elephant conservatory. It was very interesting to hear of the elephants who were rescued and now have a better life by the SOS team. I would highly recommend this entire experience for anyone! We very much enjoyed our time with Arjun and Shaan.

From the punctual driver picking us up to the amazing and friendly guide Shaan, the experience was beyond our expectations. We had a great experience. We had a few changes to our pick up spot because we had to change hotels and the tour group was very accommodating. The elephant conservation was a great experience and and I learned a lot about the work they do. Mohsin was a tour guide for the Taj Mahal and was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the Taj Mahal and its history. He also was a great photographer and too so many amazing photos of our group!!!! We couldn’t be happier with that experience. We are grateful for this tour opportunity and would recommend if you are looking for a supportive way to visit the Taj Mahal.

We are very impressed with this trip as the team constantly ensured that we feel satisfied and comfortable. Starting with a punctual pick up at our hotel in Delhi and the driver, Arjun, was very professional in making us reach the Taj Mahal in time. The guide, Qurban, was also very accommodative and very protective (in a good way) towards us just like an older brother that protecting his younger siblings from all possible scams around the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort complex. His english is excellent and with a deep knowledge about history. Even he shared many amazing trivia about the magical Taj Mahal. The breakfast in Double Tree was also very good, as you will experience the Indian breakfast in a decent quality. We were taken to a handicraft studio, but there was no pressure if we did not find something interesting to buy. Trip to the SOS India was also very meaningful as they managed to take us there on time and still managed to enjoy the whole elephant trip. And lastly, the driver again was very professional in making us reach the hotel on time as we requested. Overall, this is a right decision to spend the Agra trip effectively and pleasantly :D

The guide Ibrahim was quite manipulative, forcing with false kindness to visit the factory, purchase package of photos and in the end did not accompany us in the visit claiming time. That was committed to the other things he prioritized on the ride. Like want us stop during the tour to evaluate it and he see the message. The driver Prakash was excellent and compensated.

Excelente, primero la agencia siempre estuvo pendiente de mí, el conductor Arjun muy servicial y caballero, en el camino me compró una bebida típica y fue muy amable conmigo además tenía snacks en su carro que por cierto muy limpio, luego nos reunimos con el guía turístico Mohsin quien también fue muy amable y atento, me tomó muchas fotos y me dio ideas para ellas, además su español muy bueno al llegar a los elefantes Arjun espero por mi y me llevó a mi hotel. Solo me queda decir que la pasé increíble y estas dos personas me hicieron sentir demasiado cómoda.
