Terrible tour, skipped most of the itinerary and finished 1hr early

I was looking forward to a good tour visiting all places mentioned on the itinerary but we only covered 2 - Jama Masjid & Khari Baoli spice market. My guide also insisted I paid 1000 rps to the rickshaw driver! Maybe it was the guide I had, he was a student and doing this in spare time. He kept trying to take me to different places to buy things and ignored the itinerary. It was a bad experience, and I was glad when it was over.

The rickshaw ride is really fun thru the chaotic streets of Old Delhi. We felt we were steered toward certain shops to buy things from specific vendors. It felt more like a sales tactic.

This was our first tour in India and in Delhi. I was pretty disappointed that we did not see everything that was listed on the itinerary. Our driver was good but the local tour guide seemed more intent on selling us a carpet than anything else. He planted the seeds early and instead of taking us to the sites we were supposed to see, we saw a few things in Old Delhi and then he detoured us to New Delhi, eventually taking us to a "demonstration" and sales pitch to try to get us to buy a very over-priced and not well made carpet. We did not buy - and neither should you. After experiencing more tours and learning to tell the guide early "we do not want to see any demonstrations or be taken to any stores" other tours went much easier. Generally, I would not recommend this tour. I gave it three stars because we did get to see a bit of Old Delhi.

This has been one of the highlights of our indian adventure so far. Nikhil was a great guide and provided us with great memories. The rickshaw ride was so much fun and the jalebi, samosa and chai along the way were great. We just got to the the jamma masjid in the evening before it started closing which was a great sight with the lights.

Unique 3 hours in Old Delhi

We had a lovely 3 hours in old Delhi (11.2 10:00-13:00). We learned so much from our guide and it was a very unique experience! Old Delhi is a busy area, and you might get lost easily so we truly recommend to to book a driver and guide. It’s so much easier when you have experienced people with you. We saw so much in 3 hours and as it was a walking tour, also that gave another aspect to sight-seeing Delhi. Our driver picked us from the hotel and returned us there safely. He was also very knowledgeable and polite.

We booked this tour, as we only had a few hours spare in the afternoon and we needed to be back at our hotel for 6pm. As the tour went on, it became clear that it would take longer than the 3 hours stated. We queried this with the tour guide, who assured us that he would send us back to our hotel after one more quick stop, and we would be back at our hotel for 6pm. The last stop ended up being a rug shop where and handicrafts store where we awkwardly sat and listened to a sales pitch, all the while being very aware that it was getting closer to 6pm. Long story short, we were late getting back to our hotel because the tour guide decided he would take us to the rug shop. The tour felt very rushed, with a lot packed in to a few hours. I would have preferred to see less sights and the pace of the tour be a little slower.

Eye-opening experience in Old Delhi

This was a highly packed tour, where we were able to see all the sights of old-delhi. We were picked up and dropped off on time. The rickshaw ride was a nice highlight. Our guide Isha was there to take us around each sight, inform us on key facts and information and help us store our shoes securely. A particular highlight was our visit to the Gudwara, where we were shown around the langar kitchen and able to participate with the preparation of food. It was a shame the jain temple was closed. I would recommend you bring a face-mask as this area is extremely populated and the spice smell is extremely pungent!! Overall a great experience !

The tour was pleasant, as was my guide, however she shared very little information if I did not prompt her and didn’t seem to have a deep knowledge of the area. I would have liked more information about the city and the sites we saw. Also, I was asked to pay for several things (the metro, the rickshaw) that seemed to be included in the ticket price based on the description. We also did not stop and get the snacks described in the tour overview, and I would have appreciated a brief amount of time to browse in all the shops we passed. Finally, my tour guide was late and didn’t communicate with me that she would be, leaving me quite confused and needing to call the agency.

Walk with Kanika was amazing. In total 4 people. Smooth pick-up at hotel. We travelled with the metro. Lot's of explanation about history but also daily live and how to get around. I have never been downtown Old Delhi before but the walk was a good opportunity to get used to the traffic, the bussy streets and the people.

I arrived in Delhi for the first time and was alone for my first couple of days, so I booked this tour to get a feel for the place with someone who lives here. My tour guide was called Deepak and he was great - he arrived at my hotel early and presented me with a travel card for the metro to use, we also used a tuk tuk and manual rickshaw on the trip, and managed to fit a lot in the 3 hours we had together. Old Delhi is amazing, we had some street food together and did everything stated in the description. Deepak was very knowledgable and I felt very safe, he also made sure I got back to my hotel by calling me an uber from the metro station. I highly recommend thus tour!

An amazing tour and highly recommended to all. My Guide was on time and picked me from the Hotel. We used tuk-tuk and metro to reach Old Delhi. The Chaotic streets of Old Delhi are simply amazing. visited the mosque and walked through the Old Delhi narrow lanes. My Guide provided with all the insight information told about the festivals and its significance. He Spoke a really good English. Went to Sikh temple, Spice Market and we used different modes of transport. Sikh Temple and its Kitchen was the highlight of this tour. Highly Recommended to all.
