Nice day trip!

Karen_B, Sep 2024
Fun place to learn about the history of New Brunswick. It was nice having the horse and buggy ride back to the entrance!

Good Family Fun

emahoney361, Aug 2024
From the moment we went in Linda at the admission booth was extremely helpful in pointing out areas that were handicap accessible as my wheelchair dependent grandmother was with us. This allowed us to have as smooth of a day as possible. Most of the buildings were not built to accommodate a wheelchair, which we know and understand as they are historical buildings. She was still able to get into some of the first floors in a few of the buildings. The kids (and) adults had fun learning and exploring this historical village. To end the day we took a carriage ride, they had a ramp so even my grandmother could go on the carriage. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to Fredericton!

Going back in time

Brigitte_D, Sep 2023
The dedication of the folks there and that they actually cook, bake and eat at the houses. But sure glad I was born in modern times.

Response from Host, Sep 2023

We are pretty fortunate to have such great staff members! Thank you for visiting.

Grandson's experience

PamCyr, Jul 2021
My grandson told me he's surprised he liked it and wants to go back again with his grandfather, he enjoyed seeing the animals and also riding in the wagon.

Response from Host, Aug 2021

We are so happy to hear your grandson enjoyed his experience. Thank you for your review!

Excellent Learning Experience

William_F, Oct 2020
Very knowledgeable and interesting guides. Unfortunately the sawmill could not run as there was no water due to the dry summer. Still an awesome visit. The kids picked their own apples with an antique apple picker. Recommend this for children to learn that things were not always as easy as they are now.
