A wonderful day spent with fantastic, knowledgeable and truly interesting guides - having a peaceful moment at Dambulla before the caves were busy - stopping in a roadside cafe for buffalo curd - standing atop Sigiriya rock telling one-liner jokes and riddles with Reginald (superb guide!) - seeing many birds, insects, reptiles, buffalo and elephants in Minneriya Park. There were too many moments to have as favourites for this review - I highly recommend this tour: an intense day (duration-wise) but definitely worth it especially if you are short of time in the area. I hope to meet the main guide, Godfrey, again when I return to Sri Lanka for more of his tours.

We had a fantastic time. A lot to pack in,but it's well worth it. Our driver was very knowledgeable and made sure we did everything we wanted. He even arranged for us to ride an elephant. Which was the highlight of the day.
