I had a lovely half day tuk tuk tour of Negombo. Robin my tour guide took me around in his tuk tuk to all the sites, gave lots of interesting fast and information on the places we visited. Also made some stops along the way to take some help photos. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone to anyone staying in Negombo.

Robin took me all over Negombo, churches, temples, fish markets, an amazing juice bar, tropical fish, a tea shop. Such a good overview. Robin made sure I got across roads etc. A fun half day !

We arrived two days early for a 2-week organized tour of Sri Lanka. We booked the Negombo City Tour by Tuk Tuk tour on Viator as an introduction to Sri Lanka. We were not disappointed. Our guide, Robin picked us up at our hotel. He was on schedule and provided many interesting facts about the churches, temples and markets that we visited. we had a fun-filled 4 hour tour before being dropped off at our hotel door. Highly recommend this tour!

My 2 friends and I had great fun with Fernando on this Tuk Tuk tour of the city. He was so friendly and courteous, as well as accommodating when we asked to for a change to the itinerary. Highly recommend for a fun few hours

Went with Robin Fernando. Has a very clean and tricked out Tuk Tuk with a sound system that he used while driving, great fun. He is very well spoken, informative, with a sense of humor.

I would highly recommend this tour, we were extremely lucky to have Robin as our guide. We were in the best, cleanest & flashest tuk tuk. At every stop people were admiring & taking photos. Robin went above & beyond to endure our experience was memorable. His English was fluent and knowledge extensive. He gave us lots of great tips re dining, sunsets & beaches. A great day

Great tour of city. I asked my guide to take me to the early fish market which he did willingly. We toured two fish markets, the dried fish processing beach, a Buddhist temple and two Catholic. churches. The tour of the city center was great to get a feel for everyday life in Negombo.
My guide was quite accommodating and very knowledgeable of the area and its history. Highly recommend.

By tuk tuk is the perfect way to experience the hidden gem of Negombo & Robin is the perfect guide with his family’s long history of living & working in the area
Communication was made simple using WhatsApp as we needed to change both time & pick up location after booking
We were fascinated by the work put in drying & salting the fish at the fish market. An incredible sight, such hard work yet people still friendly with a ready smile
Robin is friendly, willing to stop anywhere you ask, takes great photos & has a clean & shiny red tuk tuk. Just do it!!

Great introduction to Negombo with friendly and knowledgeable Tuk Tuk driver/guide Robin. Lucky pick at random. Don't be put off by small number of reviews. See the city with a genuine local and be warmly greeted by many of his friends at the various markets, religious sites and on our tour, even the petrol station ! Sights, sounds, smells and tastes (additional cost juice bar stop) all in one approx 4 hour tour. Fish market a particular eye opener and the Fisherman's church a lovely quiet contrast. Not the cheapest of Tuk Tuk tours but felt good value. Highly recommended. Thank you Robin.

Robin was a very friendly, knowledgeable guy. Took us to churches, temples and the fish market - explaining everything as we went. Also stopped off at other places of interest; canal, river bridges, coral lagoon where locals swim, tea shop and local juice bar (which was lush - mixed fruit with ice cream). Explained about the history behind the Dutch fort too. Would thoroughly recommend Robin. His english is brilliant.

We had an amazing city tour in Negombo, with Robin Fernando. He was so friendly, kind, funny & knowledgeable and really gave us a good time. We saw so many things … churches, Hindu & Buddhist temples, fish market, fruit market, Negombo lagoon, the drying of the fish, an organic tea shop and so much more! Would highly recommend!

I had an absolutely fantastic time on the Negombo City Tour with driver and guide Robin Fernando! From the very start, Robin made me feel welcome and was incredibly knowledgeable about the local spots. We cruised through the city in a tuk-tuk, visiting some amazing spots like the St. Mary’s Church, the Dutch Fort, Angurukaramulla Buddhist Temple, and some Hindu temples each with its own story. This was not just a stop, takes some pictures, and then move on type of tour. I was given ample time in each location and Robin had great incites and information that made it an even more knowledgeable tour.
Robin was so thoughtful and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable in the heat. He even treated me to fresh juice and ice cream at a local spot, which was such a kind gesture and perfect on such a warm day.
Robin made this tour feel personal and special, and I left with so many great memories. If you’re visiting Negombo, I can’t recommend this tour enough – especially with Robin as your guide!
