Sofia was absolutely amazing! We had a great day learning about the beautiful city of Nafplio. And the food/wine we tasted was wonderful. Strongly recommend.

We had a wonderful evening with Sophia exploring Nafplio. She was a knowledgeable and considerate guide who really made it a great experience. We especially enjoyed the cheese shop where George and Nicholetta were very hospitable. We’d recommend this tour to any visitor to Nafplio!

Sofía was an excellent guide. She went out of her way to help us find a place to watch the French Open men’s final & also gave us great restaurant recommendations.
And all of the 4 food/wine stops had really good food/wine & very interesting & knowledgeable people.
This is the 2nd year in a row I have done this tour (last year with Maria) & if I get back to Nafplio, I will do it again!

Great friendly guide with great stories of local events and history. He is a true local. Great food that we tried as we walked through old town and he gave historical context. Highly recommend as a way to experience Nafplio on a much deeper level. With all the food and drinks, was a good value too.

The wine tasting and gyros were our favorites. Maybe a little too much walking and not coordinated. But overall we would like to go back.

Good food. Group was too big and children were bored. Probably not the best for kids. Adult only.
The guide spent most of his time talking to one man who occupied the time. It was a problem for several people.

Hercules, our tour guy was fabulous! He gave us a wonderful tour and pointed out additional hikes and walks. We could take in the area. He also pointed out where the open air market would be in the days it was open. The food in particular, the bakery was wonderful with many choices. The cheese tasting part of the tour was wonderful and it was very interesting to learn about the history of cheeses.

Our Nafplio food tour was delicious, delightful, and a lovely way to orient to this gorgeous port city. Our guide met us at our hotel and, to our delight and surprise, took us to unique shops and eateries that offered both education and delicacies unique to Greece and the Nafplio area. We sampled honeys, Greek wines, amazing cheeses and olives, and the fresh, decadent Greek "donut" traditional dessert. All the while, our guide gave us insights and tips on what to visit during our stay in the charming port city, and former capital (if brief) of modern Greece. We even had "leftovers" to enjoy during the remaining days of our stay. Highly recommend.

More of a walking history tour than a food tour. I had a hard time with this review. The tour guide was great, knew her city well. The information was also very good. The problem I had was the cost vs what was received. We received coffee and bakery items, honey tasting, cheese tasting and wine tasting. This was one of multiple food tours I did in Greece. The cost was very expensive and we were hungry when we returned. I liked the tour just didn't think you received enough to warrant the cost.

Loved seeing Nafplio with a native and tasting the wonderful foods from local bakeries, cheese producers and wineries. Our guide took us to a local market and we toured several historical sites along the way. He wove in the history of the area as we wandered the beautiful alleyways. A perfect day!

We can't say enough great things about Maria, our guide for Nafplio. She was so personable and knowledgable about the town and the places we visited to sample the local food. We liked that we were given choices when visiting the bakery and ice cream place. Other tours that we have taken preselect everything for you. It was a fabulous time and look forward to when we can visit Nafplio again.

Rita was a lovely guide. We tried some pastries. Nicole at the cheese shop provided a lot of great info and Dimitri at the wine shop was a deep fountain on the types of Greek wines and how they are produced. This is on top of all the sampling! Yum.

This was a walking food tour. The guide was with us at all of the tastings except for the wine tasting which was 1st and at 10am. We would have preferred the wine tasting to be last. In addition, we were all quite shocked when the guide told us at the very end of the tour that she was not vaccinated. We would have liked to know that from the start rather than after we shared food with her.

Mary was a lovely guide. She taught the history of the town and Greece. It would have been good for this to focus more on the history of food in Greece.
The two major stops - Deli and wine shop were excellent. The owners of both of these places were very good and gave us many samples of delicious things. We then bought lovely produce to take home. I would highly recommend the tour.

The tour was amazing. Our tour guide, Thanos , was warm, personable and friendly and the information he provided us with was very interesting. He kept us on schedule while allowing us to move at our own pace and adjust as necessary. The three businesses he took us to also had warm, friendly and informative hosts. The foods and drinks we enjoyed were a real treat.
