Two of us attended the cooking experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hands-on participation to prepare each of four delicious courses, with thoughtful guidance and answering of all our questions. They also explained the origin of selected wines (all Greek!), why they pair well with each course - and this truly elevated the meal. Who knew that beets were so good?
The cooking space is easily walkable from Nafplio's Old Town (< 1 km), and is comfortable and spacious.
Many thanks to Kostas and Agathi. This was a highlight of our trip!

Top level, hands on cooking class. Kostas and Agathi were incredible hosts and we made a menu of Greek classics with a upscale culinary ethos. We learned about local products & wines & It was a highlight of our time in Nafplio!

Costo and Agatha were excellent hosts and instructors. Costo found a way to engage all the participants even the non cooks. We also learned several aspects of the culture, wine and food. The finishing product was fantastic and the group of 5 of us had an absotuely enjoyable afternoon with meal.

My teenage kids and I spent 2 weeks in Greece and had such a great time throughout but if we had to pick our favourite highlight, it would've been this cooking class with Savor Nafplio. We learned how to make Costa's take on a Greek salad on cucumber soup, stuffed zucchini and meatballs, pork tenderloin, and orange pie. Costas taught us professional techniques and variations of how we could substitute with other meats or veggies. I joked that this may be the most I'll ever see my kids work in a kitchen (it's a lot of arm twisting to get them to help me at home) so Costas got them to do a little bit more, and they did it happily. When we got to eat, each dish was delicious, and on top of that, Agathi was pouring thoughtfully selected wines for each dish. I never thought I'd hear the words "oh my god, this cucumber soup is so good" or "this stuffed zucchini is so good" come out of my kids' mouths. Thanks for the great experience!

The food was amazingly delicious and the chef Kostas was fantastic!! He made sure everyone was involved in the preparations and made everything very simple to understand. He also educated on the background and importance of certain ingredients and the Greek culture behind them. Very happy we decided to do this class!

Wonderful class with delicious food and expert chef! We are avid cooks and have been to other cooking classes but loved this one the most. It was amazing to learn about local food and the experience was fun for our whole group! We had fun talking cooking and learning. Wine pairings with each meal were an added bonus. Would recommend and would book again! Worth a trip to napflio just for this class.

We honestly had high expectations due to the reviews before booking. Someone else mentioned it was the highlight of their 2-week trip, and we wholeheartedly agree! I recommend doing this at the start of your trip because Costas has great information and history about Greek cooking. We learned so much, not just about cooking techniques but the history behind Greek cuisine too. When Agathi joined us, we learned a lot more about the wine in the region and had an amazing wine pairing for each course. Everything was organized and there were never any awkward lulls. Plus the food we cooked was AMAZING. I still think about the orange pie :)
We wish we could do it again but know that we will be in touch when we find ourselves in Nafplio again!

The food / recipes was terrific. Everyone in the group got a chance to do hands-on cooking. Everything was very well organized. I strongly recommend this class. If you want to learn some Grrek dishes and have the fun of eating what you made, take this class. Well worth ever penny.
