Itinerary

Meet your tour group and guide at Les Gorguettes in Cassis. Depending on whether you chose the afternoon or evening departure time, meet at 9:30am or 3:30pm.

Your guide will you set up with an eBike and helmet, and lets you get acquainted with how your bike works. After everyone in the group seems good to go, it’s time to head off.

Follow your guide as you bike up mountain paths to the top of Route des Crêtes. Take in stunning sights of Cassis and La Ciotat, including views of mountains and sea. Continue on to Cassis, and take a break at Old Port. At the port, enjoy some free time. You can explore the area, relax, find food, or shop for souvenirs (own expense).

Once your break is over, it’s back on your eBike. Head down the seaside paths to Calanques of Port Pin and Port Miou. Your tour ends back where it started at Les Gorguettes.

Electric bike pedals and handles are just like a regular bicycle. The electric component augments human power, but does not completely replace it. It makes obstacles like hills and headwind more manageable and allows you to travel further without getting as tired

E bike tour

This was a really fun tour - you have to have some experience because the route is challenging at times. In town the traffic is challenging, and outside of town it is hills (some steep) and gravel. Our group of 9 people was mixed in athletic ability. Some really enjoyed the challenges and some were a little stressed. The ones who were more experienced raved about the tour. The views are incredible, our tour guide Martin was great. We did not stop for snacks or water although there was a spout at one stop. Bring water and snacks because you will get a good workout! If you are experienced, high recommend.
