Good experience spoilt by entitled fellow guests and inexperienced tour guide. Several elderly ladies sitting behind on the tour bus kept repetitively asking the tour guide when we arriving at the beach. They didn’t want us to visit anything else dispute the tour being a city tour. They were obnoxious and ruined it for everyone else. The tour guide couldn’t handle them. He eventually contacted his boss ‘Dani’ who changed the order of the tour so we arrived at the beach earlier to hopefully keeps the ladies happy

Awful trip

Bus parked in sun without AC running. Trip operated by Danitours. Advertised as small group - was 40 people on bus too large to enter city. Iguanario stop was someone's run down backyard - and that turned out to be the best stop! Never went to city centre or municipal market, went a long way to Plaza Manzanilla small shopping centre - nothing to see, mens toilets closed. Then spent about 40 mins on a narrow very steep road up to Condominio Playa Sol Mazanillo for photo stop (not worth the hourney), then a stop at a tacky roadside food place with market stalls selling junk and mainly beach items - $10 to use toilets + extra for soap. Whole thing was a terrible waste of time, never mind the cheapish cost- don't bother - stay on the ship. Commentary throughout was boring, nice enough lad, but nothing informative about the country, culture or economy, just his silly life!

Hola thank you for visit manzanillo We try to keep every nody happy on the tour The cost for baños is 10 peso 50 cents usd they have tou buy yoilet paper and the need to pay some bofy to cleand thec redreooms Sl that is way the ask for fonation to pay employee in mexico And the cruisr ship is park in manzanillo down town Ok norman

Very poor guide who spoke consistently about himself. There was little info on Mexico or where we were. He did not keep track of passenger numbers. Left before the tour was over. The last 2 stops were 20 minutes only. The worst tour I have ever been on.

Disappointing tour

It was not a small group tour. It was unorganized and a bit chaotic, with us picking up additional passengers and dropping off passengers to get back to the ship on time. There was 42 on the bus- disappointed.

Wilbur, our “guide” was more interested in talking about his personal life than giving us a tour. He disorganized, unprepared and unprofessional. He left us at a restaurant to have dinner because he had another job to go to. Hopefully another bus will come to pick us up and return us to our ship in time. Very disappointed and a waste of $90 (for 2 people).

We were the only two on the tour, so rather than do the actual tour, the owner drove us around and showed us some sights. Including a stop at a local mall I can understand that it would not be economical for the owner to arrange a full tour with a guide for two people, so he should have told us the tour would not operate that day and just refund our money

Tour not as advertised.

The guide was good, but the tour was advertised as a small group tour with special attention from the guide, but we were loaded onto a full sized bus with about 35 other tourists. The tour itself was not exactly as described--we ended the tour in a restaurant where we could buy lunch if we wanted to, and spent more than an hour there. As a result the whole tour took five and a half hours. The tour description promised that bottled water and soft drinks were included, but we were able to get ours at the restaurant only after showing the tour guide the published Viator description. He told us that only our package included drinks, which was obviously false, and for that reason we should not say anything to others on the tour. The guide himself was pretty good and the places we visited were O.K. We will not use Danitours again because of the deceptive advertising.

My partner and I had a very lovely private tour with Daniel's uncle. He is very knowledgeable and kind and showed us beautiful views and fun local attractions, he also speaks very fluent English and was able to answer all of our questions. I'm so glad we did this! Thank you!

I have a very good tour with Joel. I saw and walked around Old Manzanillo and went to theMercado Central. We saw an area where there were hundreds of Iguanas. Also went to Miramara beach and went for a short walk there. It was a good tour. Also Joel was right on time.

Tour guide never showed up and received no replies from Viator on the status. Waited for 1 hour and gave up. Asked for refund, which was to take 5-6 days, and still have not received the refund after 3 weeks.

I was traveling with my 85 year old mother and Danial was very helpful. He made sure she had help getting in and out of the van. They made sure that they parked in a spot that was wheelchair accessible. Will definitely recommend using Danitours.

A nice half day tour with Ramiro from Danitour. He was attentive and very knowledgeable of the city of Manzanillo. We had a nice walk on the Malecon and enjoyed a delicious vanilla and "elote" corn ice cream cone.

Fuimos a muchos partes de la ciudad. Dónde viven los ricos, los pobres, y también las calles con tiendas varias. Vimos unos árboles con iguanas, el mercado grande dónde se venden verduras, frutas, carnes, pescados, juguetes y otras cosas. Hay paredes y escaleras pintados en colores hermosos y de gente. La gente de Manzanillo son muy buenas artistas. Y mi guía, Joel, es un hombre muy amable y inteligente con mucha paciencia. El me ayudó encontrar una tienda dónde pude comprar un traje de baño. Y desayamos en el restaurante, Aquarius. El comida estuve fresca, rico, y muy saludable. Espero que pueden entender la manera que escribo en español. In English, this tour was wonderful and I learned so much about the great port of Manzanillo. And my guide was amazing.
