Great informative tour full of anecdotes told with humour. Highly recommend for both visitors and locals.
It was a rainy and windy day. The itinerary was focused on Oasis and it didn’t match with what we have signed up through Viator. Maybe it was our fault for not clarifying the itinerary changed when our guide sent us the note that it was going to be focused on Oasis that day. Guide is knowledgeable on Oasis and the places, just that it didn’t go to the other places that we saw on the itinerary.

it was okay, nothing out of the ordinary, wouldn't do it again, bit boring really, didnt see much music information
entertaining - history of Manchester with a music vibe. a great way to spend 2 hours through the city. didn't know much about Oasis, but learned on this tour. Liked visiting the bar at the end. I will say the guide was fast, although he was great.

My sister, brother and I booked the Rock and Goal Manchester walking tour with Joe. We all loved it his knowledge of Manchester was immense and that included, the music scene and football. It was also great to go into some iconic buildings including the Oasis online shop and a very old tailors. Joe seemed passionate about Manchester and that shone through in his guided walk. We even liked his extremely corny jokes. Thanks Joe
Our guide Joe was very knowledgeable about the Mancunian music scene and the history of many of the landmarks, along with a good sense of humour.
Fantastic Tour Great Guide… loads more than anticipated. Even included locating a hidden Dr Who Tardiness… and Dancing to The Smiths Fun time had.
We booked last minute as the weather forecast wasn't great and there were only 4 other people braving it with us. We had a fantastic 3 hour walk with Joe and although our brollies went up a few times, it didn't hamper the experience.
We discovered so much about Manchester's history and loads about it's music scene, visiting sites that were once important but sadly now closed down. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his city and this made the tour even more interesting. I'm so glad we booked and recommend this walking tour if you are in Manchester.
Joe was a very personable guide and tailored the tour specifically to our interests. There were only four people on this Sunday afternoon tour, and someone less professional might have just phoned it in, but Joe treated us exactly as he would a group of 20. He accommodated one of my specific requests even though it required a little extra work on his part. Overall, an excellent experience.
Guides are nice but way too much walking and too fast. Doesn’t make it fun. Probably the most amount of walking I’ve done in a 2hr-3hr walking tour (around 18k steps). If you’re looking to exercise, this excursion is for you
Real good informative tour with some great anecdotes from Dave about his time around the music scene. Plenty of interesting stuff and how Manchester became the great city that it is. I grew up in Manchester and still found lots of new things about my home town. The only negative is that he is a united fan but I will let him off with that one. Manchester is Blue, top job 10/10
