Great 5 hours eating our way around the Northern Quarter, learning about the history of Manchester. Highly recommend, whether you’re a tourist or a local. Britta was an excellent tour guide. Highlights were Siop Sop, Pico’s and Ginger’s.

Oh my where to begin- I was nervous because I was going solo in this food tour but i was t the only one! There was another person going solo and other people who had family going- honestly it didn’t matter everyone was friendly and our guide made our experience!!! He was fun and easy going! It was more than just a food tour, rich in history with beverages too! I took a few pictures of food but honestly from beginning to end we had so much from donuts to staple foods to why Manchester has a culinary melting pot pop of flavor from so many cultures to dessert at the end! Our guide did not rush us and we ended up actually going over! We even found an iconic Marvel scene I snapped to take back to my boyfriend! It was such a great afternoon and highly recommend! It felt like a group of friends getting together with a knowledgeable family member taking us around town!

Food selections were fantastic and Rob (our guide) was one of the best guides I’ve had on a food tour. We were a small group of 4 and it was like a day with friends. From the start with tacos, to the end with ice cream and everything in between, it was great. Highly recommend.

Don't Miss This Tour!

This was a wonderful tour. While there was a lot of walking, we had regular stops to sit and taste things. And not little skimpy bites, we let the tour fully sated. Coming from California we were dubious when we sat down for tacos, but we very pleasantly surprised. The food and drink was just as good for the rest of the tour also. We saw so many places with informative historical context during the walk. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend taking this tour.

Rob was so knowledgeable about Manchester, it’s history and it’s architecture. All the group were from a 20 mile radius of the city and yet he educated us all. The food worked well and he managed to combine traditional with artisan. A wonderful day out.
