A lovely way to spend a day in Chester. Steph delivered her knowledge on Chester in a digestible, friendly and professional manner. Very attentive to everybody’s needs. The eateries were all brilliantly selected. A great diverse selection. Steph was in no rush with the tour and it lasted 5 hours. My vegetarian friend was surprised with how good her food choices were.
This was the best food tour that I’ve ever been on. Steph was a really professional and informative host who definitely knew about great food. She took us to amazing restaurants that we would never have found on our own and gave us so many tips for other great eateries. The tour was excellent value and we had a wonderful day. I would absolutely recommend going on this food tour at the beginning of any stay in Chester, and you’ll get the best advice on what to see and where to eat, as well as having a great day.

My tour became upgraded to a private one since I was the only traveler on it today. Steph is an incredible guide, knows the city of Chester, and knows where the best food is as well. I had a personal four-hour tour seeing both the Roman and Anglo-Saxon aspects of the city, as well as tastings of South Indian, pub nibbles, hard cider, wine, Spanish food, as well as French Pastry—really too much food and drink to manage on one tour. The best part though was Steph herself, one of the friendliest and most personable tour guides I have ever known. I also met the owners and staff of many of the venues, who were also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Come to Chester and take this tour. You’ll love wandering this historic city in Cheshire, and have a great time on this tour!
Steph provides a memorable experience. Not only is the food, unique and interesting but her commentary about local lifestyles and Chester history is so interesting . Chock, full of information and a day we will savor in our taste buds and memories. We wish Steph was our tour guide for our entire time here. She is enthusiastic and caring and delivers and excellent experience.

This was a lovely tour, brilliantly done by our guide Steph. She introduced us to a number of independent retailers that we wouldn’t have found in a month of Sunday’s. The food and drinks were all extremely good and Steph’s knowledge of the venues and retailers added to the overall experience. Added to this was the history she provided of Chester as we walked between venues. If you have a few hours to spare then I would thoroughly recommend this experience.
Great food tour and a great way to spend 1/2 a day in Chester. Steph was very fun and we had a great time with her.

We had a fabulous time on our tour. Such a great variety of food and drink, great historical information given as we walked around.
Each venue was so different and all the hosts came to tell us about the dishes.
We walked all around Chester in torrential rain, but it didn't happen the day one bit.
Steph was fab, friendly and knowledgeable.
