The tour was super insightful and informative. We could have not covered things in this detail through self exploration. The multiple snacks breaks kept things light and breezy even though we were walking for hours. Props to the tour guide Khaled for the amazing experience.

Khaled was a passionate and knowledgeable guide who shared with us the history of Bahrain and the early days of Pearling, The houses that we saw which have been converted to museums were amazing. We especially enjoyed seeing vision of women weaving the gold braiding onto the clothes and finished examples. Truly a lost art. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in the early days of Bahrain and how people lived and worked. Thank you Khaled

Our guide, Khalid, was the epitome of Bahraini kindness and hospitality! He took my husband and I along the 'Pearling Path' in Muharraq, visiting countless cultural houses and shops along the way! Bring a bottle of water with you (even in cooler weather) as you'll be sampling a plethora of traditional snacks! This tour offered us the chance to more fully appreciate Bahrain's current culture by learning about it's rich and storied past. This is a side of Bahrain that even many of the locals have not yet seen. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone - groups, couples, single travelers, families, etc.! Khalid is a world traveler himself and a wealth of information on all things Bahrain and GCC! We ended the evening feeling that we had gained not only a new appreciation for the country, but a new friend as well!
