What an absolutely amazing experience...!!! I'm so glad that I booked this activity to be my first experience of the beauty and culture that Seychelles has to offer. Right from the get go, everything was organised very efficiently. We were picked up from our hotel at 8:45 am sharp on the morning of the trip and we were taken to the location from where the catamaran ride would start. The catamaran itself was excellent - a spacious and comfortable boat that was clean and well-maintained. The staff were highly professional, organised, efficient, and very polite and friendly. All boarding and safety procedures were explained in detail by our chief guide Collin and his fellow guides and the excellent boat crew. Once the ride started, it was great fun and the views and the colours of the waters were just breathtaking. We had our first snorkelling stop just off Sainte Anne Island and then after that, we were taken around the island on the boat. All this while, Collin and his crew - namely, Jacqueline, Garina (the other guides) and Bethane, Marcus, Daniel, Dariom, Corry, Thomas and Wayne kept looking after us very well and catered to all our queries and needs. The boat was expertly navigated and driven by our cool Captain Sam. We then stopped at Moyenne Island where we were treated to a sumptuous and filling Creole lunch which was served with love by the locals on the island. Collin did a fantastic job in explaining the history of Moyenne Island and its flora and fauna...and not to forget the main attraction of the island...the Giant Aldabra Tortoises which have been the island's longest residents. We were also taken on a very small trek which took us to an absolutely stunning viewpoint from where we could see the clear blue waters of the sea and the neighbouring islands. We were then given some time to relax and do our own thing on the island, after which we were picked up again by the catamaran and we headed back to Mahe. There was a second snorkelling stop along the way as well where we were able to see coral reefs and many beautiful fishes. And then, we headed back to Mahe and we were treated to a complimentary drink and a sweet snack by the crew which was a wonderful gesture on their part. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had on a sea cruise / boat cruise type trip. The locations were beautiful and the people that gave us company on this trip were excellent companions too. I would like to give a special thanks to Collin, Captain Sam and the entire crew and staff (who are named above) for taking such good care of us and making this a very special and memorable trip...Cheers...!!!

This was a perfect laid back day. Pickup was around 9am and I was back at my hotel around 5:30pm, so not a very long day. Each stop was well timed and nothing felt rushed. Lunch included very good options and it was a calm day at sea. It was cool to see the tortoises in their natural habitat and get history of the island.

When went despite the bad weather and rain, the trip was still amazing. The snorkelling part could be better with the sun, but I still saw a lot of fish and corals.
Moyenne Island is interesting and we saw a lot of turtles walking around in paths and the forest.
The lunch was delicious and as a buffet option in the Jolly Roger bar, so you could take more if you were very hungry. Soft drinks were not free, but there were tea and coffee tanks.
After lunch, you have roughly 45-60 minutes for freeze time on the Island (depending on how fast are you eating), and that time is enough to get a circle trail around the island without people (take more time if you are a slow hiker, as there are some steps there and ascending).
After Island, we had another session of snorkelling for anyone who wanted it and this part near Moyenne was even more beautiful underwater.
Note: the flippers and masks are provided, but if you have your own - take it. The snorkels did not have blockers, so harder to dive in. Also worth taking a snack with you as the lunch was about 13:30, which is around 4-5 hours after pick-up time.

Idyllic. What a place to go sail around aboard a stunning vessel. The staff are friendly and fun. The snorkeling was awesome, very well organised. The clarity of the water was great too.
Moyenne Island was delightful. The history of the island(s) was interesting. The giant tortoises were a special treat to see in natural habitat. The flora was ace with informative plaques to explain. The food was delicious. A good variety of drinks.

Highly recommend. This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. The boat was immaculate and a lot of fun to be on. The snorkeling was good - the second location was best for more variety of marine life. One thing to know is that you will have to transfer to a small boat to get the island for lunch and the tour which actually was a little bit of a fun surprise. The crew was fantastic - Galina, Collin, Desmond and the rest of the crew kept us entertained and were very knowledgeable. The lunch was also great and had some live music. The tour was fun too on Moyenne Island we saw the large tortoises and baby tortoises and the coco de mer trees. Also they provide pick up and drop off so it was easy to get to the excursion. Highly recommend.

5 stars would definitely recommend. My mother and I took this catamaran tour together. They pick you up and drop you off from your hotel (or Eden Island where we were staying) so getting there is a breeze. The tour guides were hilarious and personable. We got to snorkel twice, see all the tortoises on Moyenne, tour the island, eat a delicious lunch, and cruise around. The only criticism I have is that the beach on Moyenne (where they leave you for a while after lunch) is pretty rocky - but I think we were just spoiled from seeing all of the other beautiful beaches in the Seychelles!

Everything was superb, highly recommended!
Stopped at two different places for snorkelling and both of them were fantastic, so many corals and fish.
Moyenne Island was amazing too, we had a delicious lunch there, with live music on the background.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your group experience of our Starfish on Odezir. It is one of our top selling excursions, and on that day, we used both our 25m catamarans to service our 62 clients, resulting in 31 pax per boat. Please note that the max capacity per boat is 60 pax, but to ensure our clients' comfort, we used both. On Moyenne island however, all the clients will be on land at the same time.
The stops on this experience allow our clients to swim and snorkel in the marine park, followed by time spent on land on Moyenne. We give them enough time (about 45 minutes) to ensure that they fully enjoy the corals and biodiversity of our underwater treasures, before moving on to Moyenne island.
Please understand that this is a group marine excursion, with the emphasis made on spending more time in the marine park for water activities. For a more personalised experience of the Seychelles, we recommend taking our private excursions which will be tailored to your specific taste and timing, ensuring your day is spent exactly how you prefer it to.

Fantastic trip. Janette was a great guide and gave us lots of interesting info. The Cataman was new and beautiful and plenty of space to relax with a fantastic trampoline deck for sunbathing. The snorkelling and lunch with Creole band were excellent as of course we’re the giant tortoises . I would definitely recommend this well organised good value trip as one of the best we have taken. Die Organisation war wirklich super, keine störende Unterbrechungen. Alles lief reibungslos. Die Ausflüge waren dank der Tourguids sehr informativ und kurzweilig.

On est venu nous récupérer à notre hôtel avec un van pour nous emmener jusqu’au catamaran. On a été accueilli avec le sourire toute la journée très professionnel à l’écoute et attentionné. Belle balade en catamaran. Belle visite sur l’île. Bon repas Excursion dure facilement sept heures sans être bâclé Cinq étoiles, merci pour la journée, une attention particulière pour un des guides qu’il ne laissait aucun groupe à l’écart faisait attention à tout le monde. rien ne lui échappe. Il veut que tout le monde reparte, heureux de l’excursion. Il se divise pour parler à tout le monde à chacune de ces phrases, le sourire est assuré. avec un professionnalisme rare, il parle plusieurs langues dans l’anglais et le français Il pouvait communiquer avec tout le monde. Zuerst einmal vorweg, die selbe Tour gibt es bei der Konkurrenz um einiges günstiger. Leider gab es dort keine freien Plätze mehr und wir haben hier gebucht. Im Nachgang stellten wir fest, es war nicht ausgebucht, was ja einen Vorteil darstellt.
Dann für den Preis, nur Wasser inkludiert, das kennen wir besser. Das Buffet war lecker und reichlich.
Die Tour auf der Insel war gut, aber auch nichts Besonderes. Der Strand zum Verweilen war klein, steinig und mit den Mitreisenden dann doch arg klein.
Nun zur Fahrt/Tour selber. 2 Mal Schnorcheln war okay. Tatsächlich gab es einiges an Korallen zu sehen. Fische hatten wir an anderen Stellen zwar mehr gesehen, aber dafür kann der Veranstalter ja nichts. Statt 45 Minuten dauerte der Stop zum Dchnorcheln nur 30 Minuten. Dann fährt der Katamaran eine große Runde durch den Nationalpark und umrundet eine der größeren Inseln, ohne anzuhalten, für ein zusätzliches Schnorcheln.
Was uns aber am meisten genervt hat, das Aus- und Einschiffen zum BBQ, dauert mit nur einem Schlauchboot knapp jeweils eine Stunde! Und das obwohl das Boot nicht voll besetzt war. On top kam noch, dass wir um 15 Uhr vom BBQ abgeholt werden sollten. Was nicht ging, da das Schiff erst 20 Minuten später wieder ankam. Also sind alles in allem schon mal 2,5 Stunden der 7 Stunden weg, weil wir warten, bis es weitergeht. Das geht gar nicht. Dann müssen sie halt zwei Schlauchboote mitführen. Was wäre denn gewesen, wenn das Boot voll besetzt gewesen wäre?
Da bleibt abschließend nur zu sagen, für den Preis nicht zu empfehlen. Selbst bei den Konkurrenzplattformen wäre uns die Tour zu teuer.

Journée très agréable. Équipage très sympathique. Explications intéressantes sur l'île moyenne. Repas buffet complet et bon.
Juste un bémol, les spots de snorkeling en pleine mer. On y voit pas beaucoup de poissons.
