We took a full day tour of Mahé. Angelo, our tour guide and driver, spoke excellent English and allowed us to customize our trip to our needs. Visited many scenic highlights of Mahé including beautiful overlooks and beaches. He recommended a local restaurant for lunch that was just perfect. Right on a beach and the food was delicious. Also got to see some giant tortoises on the restaurant property. Lovely overview of a beautiful island.

Ted was a great guy and we saw everything on Mahé. Even though it’s a small island he took us to some obscure fun places that weren’t on the usual tourist tour.

This was a private four hour tour. A great deal of time in the car but an opportunity to talk about life on the island in between stops. Harry was an excellent driver and answered all questions.

Harry was a great guide for our fulll day tour around Male. We had just disembarked a cruise ship and didn’t have a flight until 9:45 that evening. He picked us up at the cruise port and showed us all the sights from east to west and north to south and then dropped us off at the airport. Great day.

Our guide Angs was very good, We presumed that the itinerary Viator sent was the one that would be used. However at least 1/2 of the sites were closed due to Christmas holidays which we were not made aware of.

Sundays, Public Holidays, New Years, Christmas etc many places are closed. we do always inform guests should they choose such a day for there tour, sorry to hear that your were not informed which is not the norm....
tours can still operate on some of these days depending on the day and guests preference of course, however the experience is very limited.

Chris was a very good driver/guide. He worked with us and asked questions to understand what we were interested in seeing. The weather was rainy and overcast, but he adjusted to help us get the most out of our day.

Very good tour. Our driver and guide Joel was very nice and knowledgable about the island.
We saw everything on my list and more. Unfortunately, it was Christmas Day and many of the attractions were closed.

We could have hired a taxi for much, much less money for the same experience. There was no actual guide, just a nice driver, and we never went to the botanical garden, nor did we have the opportunity to snorkel twice for a ridiculous amount of money.

please note booking through an online site is always pricy as they do take a commission. booking directly may have worked out a little better
our chauffeurs are well experienced and knowledgeable of the islands and their history, so yes, are the acting guides. should guests prefer professional guides in addition to the chauffeur it can be arranged for an additional charge
regarding the missed sites, depending on the tour timing you chose, maybe there was not enough. to enjoy a full experience we always recommend the 8 hours tour, preferably avoiding Sundays and Holidays as Victoria and a few other places are closed.

Our driver/guide was nice, but due to parking issues, he never left the car, so we were left to walk around and take photos on our own. A bit disappointing as it was our 25th anniversary, and we would have liked some couple photos. We would have liked a bit more guidance on where to spend most of our time as it was rushed at the end.

unfortunately Seychelles does lack parking. usually if guests would like a full time guide with them through the tour we recommend a professional guide apart from the driver who we can arrange additionally.
the tour may have seemed too quick being 4 hours only. best to take a full day 8 hour tour should you wish to explore more at a good pace.
we assure all our drivers are very knowledgeable of the island, culture and history so a little disappointed to hear that guidance was not provided.
