Overview
Wajid Ali Shah, the last ruler of the kingdom of Awadh in and around present-day Lucknow, was celebrated for creating the Kaiserbagh Palace, a beautiful complex that was brought to ruin after the British captured Lucknow in the mid 19th century. This guided walking tour takes visitors through the complex, reconstructing Kaiserbagh through photographs, maps, and historic interpretation.
