A fantastic day trip with Etson, who was an excellent guide. The national park was very peaceful, sightings may not be as spectacular as other countries in Africa, but the experience is very raw and you will not be disturbed by other jeeps. Lovely boat ride down the river with a delicious lunch.

An unforgettable journey through some of Angola’s best landscapes! Etson was a wonderful guide: kind, communicative, and patient. From the delicious meal on the Kwanza river to the observation of zebras and elephants in Kissama Park, the tour felt perfectly designed. Its final step, a red sunset over the moon view-point, was an exquisite conclusion. Thank you!

I had a great time at the safari with Etson and the park ranger. We got to see zebras, elephants, wild beats and lots of antelope. The lunch was also great and the stops on the way back. I would recommend to many.

We were lucky to have Ivone with us. The trip was organized very well. We were lucky to see elephants. But unfortunately no jiraffes. Still the trip was excellent.

This isn’t Tanzania - you aren’t guaranteed a wide variety of large animals, and we were unlucky with the elephants and giraffes. Did get a good look zebras, antelopes and monkeys. The trip includes a boat tide, a nice lunch, and a stop at the Miradouro for great views reminiscent of Bryce Canyon National Park in the U.S.
Ivone did a super job leading the tour; she speaks six languages and her Englush is superb.

"Safari" was more of a monster truck animal rally. Driver went super fast, we all got torn up by the acacia trees and then the loud brakes scared animals away.
Resort site was beautiful and our overall trip guide was so accommodating!
Would do it again if the Safari driver would go slower and be more mindful of the thorns slicing us up and allow more time to see and take pics of animals.

Trip was a nice experience, although the National park Kissama is not where you can see a lot of animals during the trip like in some other parks in Africa. However, the experience was compensated by a nice boat trip with an excellent lunch and a museum visit.
The tour guide was nice and full of knowledge with a good English.
Definitely it is necessary to improve the pick up process, as it was arranged that we will be picked up at Epic Sana hotel aj 6.00 but we were picked up at 6:40 with no prior call from anybody !!! The beginning was quite a stressfull because of that.

A great lunch on the riverbank and a very goos guide and driver. They were both brilliant Company and very knowledgeable
This excursion is a must if in Luanda as you get to see 3 of the key sightseeing spots: quicama National park, Miradouro da Lua and also the national slavery museum with the crafts market! It’s a great way to see what lies just outside the main city.
The Safari itself was great! We were driven there and then once arriving at the park, driven around an hour into it where we changed to an off-road vehicle accompanied by an additional park guide. We saw a wide range of animals and spent a great deal of time following the off-road elephant trails in a hope to find them but sadly had to give up after a while. We did however see zebras, monkeys and a lot of other native animals!
Whilst in the park we took a boat ride along the river to visit a restaurant that was floating on the water, had some great fish for lunch, before heading back on the boat and leaving the park for the other sightseeing spots! 10/10 recommend. The animals in the park is pot luck, but it’s still great to go and experience it’s beauty, either way

The safari was one of the highlights of an amazing trip to Angola! Esteves from Luzaya was attentive and planned an amazing day at Kissama Park, including the safari a delicious meal on the Kwanza river, and a delightful boat ride. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure and beautiful nature. It was a great complementary experience to the vibrant urban life in Luanda. The only downside is that certain animals are hard to see depending on the hour of the day you visit. Although we arrived early, the park visitation limitations forced us to wait for over 2h for other members, so planning ahead is recommended. Overall a great experience though!

The team picked me up in the morning to have sufficient time to visit the national park. Everything was perfectly organized and timed. Highlights were the visit of the safari park, as well as the lunch in a local and very nice restaurant. I need to call out that the guides were extremely friendly and took the time to explain a lot about people, culture, nature etc. which is highly appreciated.

Embora o Parque Nacional do Quissamâ não seja ainda muito conhecido, o safari nele é muito bom. Podemos ver Gnus, Zebras, Elefantes, Macacos e Veados. Depois navegamos pelo rio Kwanza e almoçamos o tradicional Mufete. O Miradouro da Lua foi um outro grande destaque e principal cartão postal de Luanda. É um passeio bem completo e que vale muito a pena de ser feito!

Nos encontramos às 6h30 e partimos para Quissama. A viagem até o parque nos proporcionou uma compreensão da cidade e dos hábitos dos moradores.
Em Quissama, tivemos nosso primeiro momento de tirar o fôlego na África. A vista de Quissama para o Rio Kwanza é simplesmente incrível. Descemos e avistamos alguns animais. Na volta, seguimos para o rio e embarcamos em um barco para almoçar em um restaurante flutuante à beira do rio. Saboreamos o famoso Mufet e tomamos suco de Mucua.
