This tour was the highlight of our trip! Bright is the BEST tour guide we had for our entire 2 weeks in Africa. He is extremely kind, passionate, and knowledgeable about biology and wildlife. He was excellent at positioning the car for us to get the best photos possible. Instead of just showing us the rhinos as planned, Bright took us around the entire park to see elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebra, and many beautiful species of birds. We learned so much about wildlife from him. I HIGHLY recommend booking this tour and requesting Bright, he made the tour a 5 STAR experience.

Our guides were excellent - friendly, so knowledgeable, and clearly passionate and respectful of the the wildlife. An immersive and profound experience. Been on wildlife safaris in South Africa and this felt much more fulfilling. And of course - what a privilege to stand so close to the magnificent rhinos and see the lengths the rangers go to in order to keep them safe. Please support these guys.

Beautiful Short Visit to Mosi-Oa-Tunya Park

The trip was at my last day in Zimbabwe for a 16.00 flight and was hoping to squeeze the Rhino Walk in Zambia in the morning. My personal review: 1. I add the additional cost for a transfer from Zimbabwe to Zambia border. The driver contacts me the day before to pick me up 06.45. At the day he was a bit late and cannot be contacted, but lucky Martha (from Dewclaw Tour) was on call that morning and help contacted the driver. The driver came around 07.15, helped me at the immigration border, and even grabbed a taxi for the bridge crossing to speed-up time until I meet with the Zambia team. 2. The tour guides Omen and Moris was so friendly and dedicated for the game drive. We spend more than one hour circling the beautiful park. I got to see the animals that I didn't in Chobe the day before; saw large herd of zebras and buffaloes, impalas, giraffes, vultures, also a hippo at Zambezi waters. They also explain the history of early European village graveyards inside the park. Around 10.00 we started to find the rhinos and finally found them resting under the shades. After seeing the rhinos, they even offered to continue to explore the park if I want. 3. Around 11.00 I returned to the border. Again, it was kind a hard to find the pickup driver from Zimbabwe side, but Omen and Moris was very helpful to contact him. I made in on time to hotel to checkout and head to the airport. At the end it was a very perfect trip. A few suggestions: 1. I understand that Dewclaw is a Zambia base operator, but probably the communication with the Zimbabwe driver could be more improved. But I do appreciate that the transfer includes a taxi to cross the Zim-Zam bridge. 2. The rhino visit could be done first, so we could see them more active in the morning rather than resting in the shades.

Everything was well organized. We were staying on the Zimbabwe side but got rides to across the border. We saw giraffes, gnus, zebras, water buffalos and many more animals. Guide was full pro. Oh and of course we saw the rhinos. Mom and a calf.

Sehr zuverlässiges Unternehmen. Leider waren kaum Tiere im Park. Die Nashörner waren das Highlight. So dicht neben Nashörnern zu stehen, ist schon ein tolles Erlebnis. Es muss aber Jedem bei der Buchung bewusst sein, dass ca. 10 Dollar extra für die Ranger zu zahlen sind.

Es war der absolute Wahnsinn. Wir sind so nah an den Nashörnern (zu Fuß), Elefanten (im Auto), Giraffen und weiteren Tieren gewesen. Exzellente Kommunikation im Voraus über WhatsApp. Sehr freundliche Guides. Und das Beste: Ich konnte als Alleinreisende die Tour buchen, hatte quasi eine private Safari für mich und alle meine Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Absolute Empfehlung!
