This tour was fantastic! Our guide, Brian, was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. Our tour could not have been better. We learned so much about The Beatles that we didn’t know despite being big fans. Our group would recommend this tour if you are visiting Liverpool. Be sure to request Brian. We promise you will not be disappointed.

Our tour guide/ driver was Joey. He drove a taxi. We thoroughly enjoyed his comments and stories and felt like he gave us a good overview of the Beatles more personal lives. The downfalls were the car really only had good seating for three. There were four of us so one person had to sit on a small platform seat not meant for sitting on for a long period of time. Second problem, because it was a taxi there was a plexi glass partition between us so we had to strain to hear him speak.

We are pleased you enjoyed your time with Joey who is an excellent Beatles Guide. Joey usually has a licensed Mercedes licensed for 6 passengers and there is no bench seat in that. If a car is off the road for a service etc then he might have been using a courtesy vehicle but it’s still licensed for at least 5 passengers. Did you speak to Joey about this during the tour? If he was aware you weren’t comfortable then we’d expect him to call us and we’d arrange another car later that day. Or did you just let the tour proceed then write the review as I need to understand what’s happened? Thanks Neil

Dave was great, did a nice job avoiding the crowds from the cruise ship busses. We would get places and snap pics before the mob. His stories were great and he’s lived in Liverpool most of his life. I would recommend this for any true Beatles fan. We really aren’t… but it was still a nice way to experience things off the beaten path. Strawberry Fields was nice and relaxing. I recommend a tour to that actually goes in vs just a drive by on a bus.

1sr the good. Joey was knowledgeable local guide who took us to famous locations related to the Beatles. But there were many issues related to the transportation. Joey picked us up in an old dirty taxi with inoperable windows and no AC. To keep us from sweating to death, we drove around town with both doors open. This cooled down the interior but was not ideal, and was noisy. We could not hear Joey’s commentary. He was both driver and guide and there was a plastic divider separating us. He provided no water which is expected based on past tours. And most irritating we had a 2nd group following us around and he would repeat whatever he told us when they caught up at each stop.
We enjoyed Liverpool and laughed about the tour accommodations, but iit was not up to our expectations for a private Viator tour

I’m so sorry that this did not work out for you - Joey has a new Mercedes so it must have been in for a service that day without telling me as there’s no way I’d have that standard of vehicle nor wouid we want doors left open, nor two taxis following each other around ! That is not our standard it’s not what we’ve worked 15 years as the original Beatles tour to deliver so we will do another tour free of charge for your group james or myself will do it for you ourselves please email us to arrange this

Joey, our guide was a wealth of knowledge and interest on the tour. You could feel his enthusiasm and genuine interest in his city, the history and how it shaped the lives of John, Paul, George and Ringo. Each place we visited the vendors and proprietors knew him by name and opened their venues to us with additional information. Our guide was kind and aware of our individual interests and took time as needed. He was patient in answering questions and expanded on information when appropriate. At the end of the tour he dropped us off at a spot he felt would enhance our experience in Liverpool, which it did. The tour and day exceeded our expectations.

Our guide, Joey, was very personable and knowledgeable. Seeing where the Beatles grew up and how it influenced their music was a great experience. Although not big football fans, seeing the Anfield Stadium was very interesting.

David had excellent command of each of the Beatles and their boyhood homes. The stop at the church cemetery where John Lennon hid from the viccar and wrote Elenor Rigby using a name from a headstone was most memorable! Great job David!!

I expected a a bit more for the cost. The guides were very nice, but a bit disorganized and not quite on par wirh other tours I've done. It was nice to have the Van considering the cold, rainy, windy evening.

I don’t get your review? Who were the “guides” we only use one guide at a time and we always use a van there’s never any walking ? Are you sure you’ve put this review against the correct tour? We are not disorganised either we’ve been doing this for 15 years!
