For our stop in Linz while on a river cruise on the Danube, we elected to do this excursion to Czesky Krumlov. The best decision ever! It was awesome and amazing to see. Everyone traveling through Linz should take a day to see Czesky Krumlov as you can't miss seeing it!

We came in on a Viking ship to Krems. And then was picked up and taken to Cesky Krumlov.. Our driver was excellent and our guide Christian, was very knowledgeable and informative. He had a very relational way of taking us on the tour of the city. We would definitely recommend this tour. We love the lunch we had that Christian recommended. Definitely a must do.!

This was a great excursion. Probably the best that we have been on. We chose Viator b/c our Viking cruise had already sold out on this excursion. I am glad it was. Our driver and our guide were awesome!! It was def a more personalized experience. Don’t miss going on this!!!

We chose to use Viator after our cruise ship’s tour was already booked. It was a private tour of 4 people. The driver, Petr, was amazing! He met us at our cruise port & waited directly outside the ship door exit. He was unable to get to the parking lot due to an event going on! He was incredibly accommodating! Very accessible by phone. He drove us to Cesky Krumlov where we met with our guide Christian. He too was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the area. So kind! He gave us free time to explore on our own after the tour. We were able to provide the amount of time we wanted before Petr drove us back to the ship in Linz. Highly recommend Viator!!

Booked this tour while on a Danube River Cruise stop in Linz, Austria. Total cost for six people was less than half the cost that Viking was charging.
Petr the Viator contact messaged me directly several times with meeting place, driver, and vehicle information.
Jan the driver was terrific and got us there and back on time and safely.
Oly was a “rock star” tour guide that was more interested in what we wanted to do rather that give us a memorized spiel. She walked us through the castle on an informative 2 hour tour, and was mindful to understand what we wanted to do on our remaining 2 hours in Cesky Krumlov.
She recommended a restaurant for our tastes (including where not to go), what to shop for in town, and then set us up with a rafting tour through the city (extra not included), that gave you outstanding views of the castle you could not get on foot.
She was careful to identify landmarks for our end of day meeting spot for our return trip home. She actually was born there and knew everthing you ever wanted to know.
This Viator tour is one not to miss!
