Our tour guide arrived with no itinerary at all. Nothing like the description of the tour… Never got to Hallstst. Ended up in Salzberg without any communication as to where we were going. Nice driver, but no tour. I have used via tour before and had remarkably good experiences.

Dear Mary, Thank you for your review. While we respect your opinion, we believe this review does not accurately reflect what happened during the tour. Our driver arrived with the full itinerary and was fully prepared to operate the tour as booked. He is one of our most experienced drivers and regularly conducts this route. Unfortunately, during the day part of the group had to visit a hospital due to a medical issue. This unexpected situation significantly affected the schedule and required adjustments to the original plan. While waiting for the remaining members of the group, different options were discussed, including staying in Linz. Our driver suggested Salzburg as a more enjoyable alternative, and the group agreed to spend their waiting time there. As a result, the group enjoyed approximately six hours in Salzburg instead of the originally planned four hours, at no additional cost. Throughout the day, our driver remained in contact with your group, accommodated several changes to pickup locations and timing, and made every effort to adapt to the changing circumstances. We understand your disappointment that Hallstatt could not ultimately be visited as originally planned. However, this was the result of the unforeseen medical situation and subsequent schedule changes rather than any lack of preparation or professionalism from our driver. Our driver Vaclav was excellent. Very informative and courteous. Very punctual. Went above and beyond for us. Van was small for us 8 adults as hard to get in and get off for back seaters. But was very clean.
