Trip was with Royal Mangrove and guide was really knowledgeable. Some guides encouraged passengers to feed animals but ours understood the importance of not doing so to protect the environment and the Unesco Heritage status. Saw fantastic eagles (2 types), monkeys and bats in cave. You could borrow torches at entrance which were brilliant. Rock formations were stunning and mangrove really interesting. Fish farm was interesting and food good and reasonable. You get enough time to have a quick meal. A great trip.

Great. We saw a lot of monkeys! Was nice and worth for the price! A lot of nature and animalls. Also we saw jellyfish and lot of eagles!

Definitely a nice activity; I particularly enjoyed the part with the eagles.
The guide was funny and laid back.
Overall a nice way to spend the afternoon, and the beach nearby is lovely!

This is a wonderful boat ride through the natural beauty of Langkawi. We got to see monkeys and bats. The tour is only 2 hours, not 3 hours as listed.

Great tour except the fish farm and floating restaurant. Tour would've been much better if this was excluded and it was shorter, or more time was spent going through the park. The fish farm is depressing, and the restaurant disgusting. This is not an attraction worth seeing.

Boat ride around mangrove Kilim Geoforest Park. Well worth it. Be prepared for a bit bumpy on the boat which also made it a great experience.

We took a 3 hour trip on a shared boat through the mangroves. The guide was young and well informed. He kept us safe -making sure that we all wore life jackets.
The trip took in beautiful scenery, the open sea and a couple of stops -the forst 2 watch the kites swooping down to take fish, then at the bat caves where we didn't actually see
bats but we walked through a part of the mangrove forest. The last 1 we stopped at a fish restaurant and farm - some of the fish for consumption but lots just swimming around for tourists to look at.
Maohammad our Guide was informative, entertaining and really engaging. Definitely recommemd it.

Total tourist trap. There was no guide just inexperienced kid racing a boat through the waterways. He knew nothing about the mangroves or anything else. The tour says three hours, but it was really just too. They park you at it floating restaurant for an hour and then drive you back three minutes to shore. This tour are definitely should not be on VIATOR. I gave it a couple stars because the route itself was fun

Amazing trip so glad we booked!
The other mangrove tours were so expensive ! So we were wondering why this was such good value but we saw so much. Mohammed , our guide was a total legend! Really funny, welcoming and driving the boat fast was exhilarating!
The mangroves were stunning and the bat cave!
Didn’t like the concept of the fish farm and don’t think it should be included in the tour but I do understand why , bringing tourism etc. I think it should stop elsewhere for a drink or have drinks on the boat ?
Overall. A highlight of our holiday!

This was a fantastic trip, the guide/pilot was really, really good he was very knowledgeable and experienced about ecology and made sure everyone could listen to what he was saying along the trip, stopping other people rudely talking loudly over him which was good. Would highly recommend 👍

We booked via Viator. Rode to the jetty by scooter. Easy way. Easy find. As we arrived I got a WhatsApp message from royal manggrove tour and we had to wait until the others arrived. You can buy drinks and snacks at jetty. Team of royal mangrove is very friendly. The boat was comfortable. Our guide (sorry I forgot his name. Broad guy and very friendly :)) was very nice and informative. We enjoyed the tour very much. We saw eagles, monkeys, bats and fish. Only downside for me was the Fishfarm. The food was decent. I didn’t like the way the fish are held though. The basins are in fresh water but too small and in my opinion animals from the sea shouldn’t be held for display. You can see the smaller fish everywhere when you go snorkeling. The bigger fish are meant to be in deeper water.
Our guide explained to us that he doesn’t recommend feeding the monkeys and that they don’t feed the eagles often because they want to ensure that the animals don’t get dependent on humans. Very nature friendly.
I loved seeing the bats. They did charge us another 2 RM to see the bat cave but that’s was absolutely fine.
Very happy and if you have the time you should book this trip with royal mangrove <3
