DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! The tour operator is one of the most unethical people I've ever met. On the day prior to our excursion, I provided our resort with the driver's information so they had access to pick us up. The day came and HE NEVER SHOWED UP. My party was 10 people and he tried to extort us for more money stating that he would only allow us to take the tour as a private group if we paid him an additional $500 and covered fees. The entire time, he had no remorse that his driver didn't show up and took no accountability for their fault in our inability to take the tour. Viator has handled this situation so poorly and should be ashamed to partner with someone like this. An adventure-filled day to celebrate my birthday turned into a disaster and it's tainted my view of both companies. Save your money and work with another tour company.

You were informed that you will needed to confirm my Driver the access to pick your guys up Driver couldn't get in the casa de campo because is a very complicated place, the fault belongs to your butler for not sending it on time since your was informed 2 days before date that we need the Access in to casa de campo we sorry you missed your pick up An we also ofer your a afternoon pick up but you said not sorry you didn't get a refund i sent viator pictures an videos of our conversasion an driver at the office of casa de campo at 8:40am an the number of the receptionist person who told my Driver there wasn't no Acess sent from your side!

The equipment is not only old but it is unsafe. No back brakes. Vehicles would not start and have to be jump started at each stop. The ATV I was on chain broke. 3 of us went through 6 different vehicles they had to tow one home. They also have a high pressure photo sales rep who is not part of the ATV company but he comes along anyway. Then to top it off on the ride home in someone’s personal vehicle he was very proud of his $4000 stereo. He blasted the music so loud that we had our fingers in our ears and yet that did not deter him! Do not take the tour. You have been warned.

Everything was great with the exception that múltiple buggy and ATV got damaged on the way. I guess that’s normal due to the use lol. The driving was so fun and the staff super friendly. Must to have: something to cover Your face and glasses for your eyes. Water protective case for your phone and something for your wallet lol.

Pros: Our tour guides were very kind and helpful during our trip. Even when problems came up they worked diligently to fix them and we loved having them on our excursion. The buggies and ATVs were super fun to drive when they were working properly, and we had plenty of rough terrain to explore (which we enjoyed). We loved getting to try the raw sugarcane as well as the cocoa treats and fresh fruit towards the end of our trip. Cons: Our driver to the excursion was reckless and it was a bit scary being driven to the site. We weren't told what to bring and therefore were not prepared (after we arrived, we found out we needed swimsuits, clothes that could get wet, plastic coverings for our belongings, and face coverings like bandanas or scarves). We did not appreciate having to pay $10 for their provided facial coverings on site... We had both a motorbike and buggy break down during our trip which meant a lot of waiting around for a replacement or repair. We also had an ATV run out of gas towards the end of the trip. Once we returned to their site, we had to sit through a lengthy advertisement to buy photos from the trip before being driven back to our resort, which we didn't love. Overall, we would not recommend this company. They need to work on their communication, keep their equipment in better condition, and spend more time on the excursion experience rather than trying to advertise and make more money from their guests.

The 3 pit stops was a real island feel and experience. The sugar fields being able to cut and peel and taste the sugar cane rew like that. Riding down to the river and being among the locals was true island experience. But best of all the Cacoa Tour the demonstration of how coco is made and the rich smell of it will never forget. Thank you been telling my friends about this excursion and how they should definitely go and experience it

Estamos esperando la devolución de 150 dólares la cual nos dijeron que la hacían en el día. Hicimos la excursión en un vehículo y con quien la contratamos por esta página nos dijo que se comunicaba con la administrativa y nos devolvía el dinero, ya que el monto acreditado habia sido 300 dolares. Ya van 3 días, queremos creer que no nos van a estafar... pero ahora estamos llamando y no tenemos respuesta. Donde están nuestros 150 dolares de los 300 que pagamos y nos confirmaron que devolvían? Gracias
