The operator cancelled this tour but failed to notify me proactively. I had to contact him myself, which I did the day before the tour soon after landing into Kuwait just to be sure, which I normally do when I book tours and was repeatedly assured the tour would proceed despite a “car breakdown,” even shortly before start time on the day of the tour. What I could not understand is when he knew the car had broken down one day before, why was he trying to fix it on the morning of the tour. My tour was scheduled to begin at 10am. Anyway, this violates basic reliability even though the operator apologized which actually did not solve anything for me. Not recommended if you have just a day in Kuwait like a short layover or stopover in the city like I did. Very very disappointing indeed. Even the Viator agent who was polite and apologetic could not confirm anything and only offered a full refund which I had no choice but to accept which resulted in a complete breakdown of my plan to see Kuwait. Still waiting for a full refund as promised and at least some kind of compensation or proactive gesture of goodwill for my next booking on Viator in the event I decide to book through Viator.

This was an absolute delight of a tour!! I cannot recommend this enough. We got to see so much of the city and experience a ton of local sites. Walid was so knowledgeable and kept us safe and informed.
We got to see beautiful parts of the desert, city and outer urban areas. Museums, cultural centers, camel farms, souls, it's got it all!!
Definitely recommend for anyone who only has a day to tour to city or want to get your bearings while in town.

Walid picked us up from our hotel and we had a whistle stop tour of the sights of Kuwait City. Friendly, approachable and knowledgeable he explained the Kuwaiti nation to us and the many different nationalities that live here. Highlight of the trip was when we ventured out into the desert to see some abandoned buildings and a camel farm. Superb day.

Great tour. Just the driver in his
taxi and I. This gave excllent view from front seat. It was a very hot day but the taxi aircon was good for the task.The drivers English was good and he gave the information about the sights we visited. Could no see main hall of grand mosque due to maintenence work but the mosque quide was excellent.
Great finish to the day with specular sunset o the sea front.

Trip was great! With many stops on the way and lots of informations about the country. Walid was amazing tour guide - you can see that he loves and enjoys his job! I really loved the 4WD experience and driving in the desert. Another great activity was a camel farm! I was surprised to see how friendly and gentle they are! What an amazing experience I had! I was a bit nervous as I was travelling alone as a solo female traveller but Walid made me feel at ease! He was punctual, nice, polite and fun to be around. He loves his country and he shares a lot of interesting information throughout the tour. Overall very good tour and a good value. Walid was quite knowledgeable and had a lot of good information. I liked that in one day was able to see quite a range of sights all over Kuwait. I had flexibility in the tour to allow me to see or spend more time in certain areas, and Walid was open to even doing a separate more custom tour if there were other places I wanted to see. Definitely would use him again if I returned to Kuwait!

We only had a 10 hour layover so Khalid made the most of our limited time. We couldn’t have been happier with his tour which ranged from riding 4-wheelers, to petting camels, to seeing the city lights at night, and so much more. Walid was great a catering the day tour to your own preferences. I had told him that I already went to the Kuwait Towers a Souk Al Mubarakiya on a previous day so he found some other things for us to do that were unique. Seeing as most museums were closed on our Sunday tour he offered up some ideas on which ones were opened and we found an interesting maritime museum to go to. Most memorable was going into the deserts of Kuwait and seeing the scenery and the camels. I couldn’t reccomend the day tour enough if you have an open day to spend in Kuwait.
