This tour was fascinating. Lucian is so knowledgeable and passionate, and also friendly and easy going, so we learned a lot but also had fun. We spotted far more frogs than we expected to and even a couple of snakes! This was one of the most memorable parts of our time in Kuching. Thank you Lucian!

What an incredible evening. Luciano has an uncanny knack for spotting hidden creatures – frogs, spiders, stick insects, snakes, geckos – it was like being on a magical nighttime treasure hunt! If you’re visiting Sarawak… this is an absolute must-do!

The rainforest truly transforms after dark, and I’m thrilled we were able to spot such a diverse range of Sarawak’s nocturnal residents. From the incredible camouflage of the stick insects to the unique character of our local geckos and snakes, every "treasure hunt" is a reminder of how vibrant this ecosystem is.

Highly recommended for nature lovers. The walk is fairly easy uphill walk on an access road next to a stream up to a pond full of frogs. We took a couple of hours, but with a stop every few metres to look at something new. We booked the tour about midday the day we went so thankful for the availability, but note it was evene then super easy to organise through WhatsApp. We arrived at Kubah NP shortly before dark and straight away Lucian was off finding different frogs, lizards, insects and bats. Most of which we either on the side of the access road or a short distance into the bush. Lucian was extremely knowledgeable about the different frogs and an ace at spotting the frogs and other animals in the dark. On the drive over Lucian said we would see 30-40 different kinds of frogs, and judging by the pictures on my camera that was pretty accurate. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Kuching.

Our flight was delayed and so we thought we'd have to cancel last minute. Lucian kindly agreed to meet us an hour later than originally planned or to move the tour to another day. We ended up meeting 1 hour later and got a private tour. Lucian is kind, knowledgeable, laid back, passionate about what he does. Couldn't have asked for a better guide. Along with frogs (about 10 species) and spiders and lizards, we saw sticks insects, a flying lemur (that flew), and a tiny mouse deer. The sounds of the jungle with lights off at night might have been the highlight though.

Amazing tour - and what a beautiful place for a night time stroll! Our friendly guide Lucian shared his passion and knowledge about the wildlife and environment in Sarawak - and was kind enough to point out lots of frogs, insects and interesting plants along the way. The tour follows a paved road through the forest uphill to a frog pond. We were able to take some nice photos of the wildlife with Lucian's help. The ambiance and sound of the forest at night is amazing :) . Highly recommend taking this tour if you love wildlife and the outdoors!

We really enjoyed our walk with Fionara. She provided great explanations and pointed out many animals which we would have missed. She also advised of what to bring for the walk/hike to make it most enjoyable. We saw many frogs and enjoyed a pleasant cool walk.

I booked this trip as an anniversary gift for my husband who loves frogs. For him, this trip was perfect and I enjoyed it hugely too. The guide was just as into amphibians as my husband (if not more) and was incredibly knowledgeable about all the local flora and fauna, not just the frogs. Lucien was clearly very used to guiding people around Kubah and excellent at giving us background information, spotting things for us to look at, providing details of common and scientific names, etc. My husband took over 100 pictures and several videos. We both loved learning more about the park area and it's inhabitants, spotting loads of bugs, frogs, a tarantula and more; and I know that whilst we could have found our way to the frog pond on our own, we'd have missed out on so much of what we experienced had we not had our excellent guide.

Saw a caecilian, so it was pretty much as good as it could have been. Lots of frogs were spotted. Guide was kind and good at spotting frogs. Pick up was smooth and convenient.

Excellent experience however this is not a casual stroll or beginner walk. A steep walk in very humid conditions.

We had a beatifull froggy night with our guide Cornellius. More the 14 frog diferent species and also some snakes and insects, amazing!!

Our guide Danny was very friendly and professional; he gave us a lot of information and showed many nocturnal creatures. The walk itself is easy and nice. Beautiful experience! No stinging insects nor leeches.

I really like the tour. Guide is really good. He is a frog expert and he find a lot of frog. The walking path is uphill but slope is easy walk.

Amazing experience! If I didn't count wrongly, we saw 17 different frog species plus a coral snake, some interesting bugs and probably what we think was a moose deer. Danny, our guide, was a pleasure to be with, spoke good English and he was very good at spotting the frogs and bugs! Highly recommended tour

It was a great night, we saw lots of frogs (9 or 10 different species), it was so interesting to hear so many sounds of the night creatures, and came across many insects, bird and even a Tarsier (yes, google it !!!). Our guide Lucian is very informative, knowledgeable and pleasant, we have now learn to appreciate frogs better and would definitely participate in another night walk if we are back in Kuching.

ガイドさんがとても親切で生き物を見つけるのが上手で、カエル、ヘビ、ナナフシ、クモなど多くの種類の生き物をみることができました。
舗道された道も歩きやすく、たまに横道に入り込んだりしながらゆっくり私たちのペースで歩くことができました。
生き物好き(特にカエルや昆虫)な旅行者は参加を強くお勧めします！

Erg leuke tour met een hele enthousiaste gids. Veel mooie kikkers,spinnen en slang gezien. We zijn 1000 ft de berg op gelopen , is wel wat inspannend bij de hoge temperaturen.
