First, the tour driver was 20 minutes late with no communication. Then the van, which was described to have air conditioning, did not and the vents were blowing hot air. Then, the driver stopped for gas, which should have been done before the tour. So much time was wasted.
The tour guide was good. The Blue Eye was a sight to see.

Stunning place & great guide ❤️ we had a slight delay due to very heavy traffic. Arvi our host had great communication and was extremely apologetic (although not within her control), she even paid for our train to the top of the blue eye as compensation which was very much appreciated. The blue eye itself was truly beautiful. Great day 💙

The woman doing the tour was not very nice and she even left us behind and started to drive off, we had to run to go and catch her. Would not recommend this tour. There wasn’t much information given to us about the actual blue eye, we were left to wander by ourselves.

You are NOT allowed to swim in this water. The land train runing from the car park to the blue eye can be crazy busy. Luckily our guide organised us private transport to the eye because 2 of us were suffering from bad knees. The place is lovely, with nice cafe/restaurants overlooking the water.

Wow!! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. He gave us plenty of time to take pictures and explore, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
He greeted us with a smile and made it very easy to find him at the pickup location.
We were a group of 8, and everything was accommodated smoothly without any issues. Highly recommend!

This is a great tour and definitely worth the money, but a few critical things to keep in mind. First of all, bring cash!! We stopped here on a cruise and didn’t have any problem using credit cards for everything at other stops, but no one in Albania takes credit cards and the ATMs have a high fee. Secondly, as other reviews have stated, you CANNOT swim in blue eye. I should have read more of the comments to see, but I saw the pictures on the description of people literally backflipping into water and assumed it was for this tour and not some random stock photo. Never assume, I guess. When I told the guide that the tour description said swimming, he seemed really confused and skeptical. Every single person on my tour was in a swimsuit so I guess we were all misled. That said, the blue eye is beautiful, the guide was very nice, and it’s a great tour, just keep all this in mind.

Great tour guide and beautiful scenery. Although the tour description says you can swim here, you CANNOT! Multiple signs there saying you can’t swim. Viator’s description is misleading and needs to be updated.

Tour guide arrived on time (15 minutes early), we left on time, there were only 6 people on the tour and the guide stayed with us throughout. We got to swim, hike, and have a beer. So much easier than taking a taxi or bus. I would do this again, especially for the price! Loved it!!!

E-mail received the night before changing time from 9am to 11:30am. Not the end of the world but a but frustrating since we planned our day accordingly.
The Blue Eye is lovely but the area is completely packed with people and you’re not allowed to swim. Some people did of course, but there are signs everywhere saying no swimming.

Our guide was waiting for us when we arrived, a few minutes early. The tour was exactly as expected. Our guide was helpful and attentive to another guest who had difficulties with the walk to the pools. The walk was up hill, about 20 minutes, easy for most of us. The setting was beautiful, with lush greenery and crystal clear water to cool off in. We were very satisfied with the experience.

My mum had a lovely time in Albania visiting Blue eye with Rei Tours. The site was amazing and the tour company was so friendly and knowledgeable! They also ensured we got back to the port in time to catch our ferry and was patient with my mum who has problems with her Knees. I would definitely recommend this this excursion and tour company and will use them again when I return to Albania.
