Whether you’re a first-time rider or an experienced equestrian, riding a horse along one of Thailand's white-sand beaches is an unforgettable experience. With this tour, choose a 1-, 2-, or 3-hour beach ride and admire the views from horseback at a pace adapted to your riding level. Or, take an evening sunset ride for even more beautiful views. Opt to go swimming with your horse for an extra fee.

(To be advised) • Free hotel pick up is available for Klong Muang, Tub Kaek and Ao Nang • Remote areas including Krabi town require an additional charge of THB100 per person (payable directly to the driver) • If you stay at Railay Beach, we offer a pickup service from the boat ticket office at Ao Nam Mao Pier which is just a 15-minute longtail boat ride from Railay East • If you stay in Ton Sai, please come to the meeting point at Phra Nang Inn reception in Ao Nang • If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang • Please plan to meet your tour guide in your hotel lobby at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late or after we have moved from your hotel, you may be considered a no-shows

The rider's weight must be under 85 kg. Nonrefundable for overweight riders.
Infant (under 3 years old) is free of charge (sit with parents, Total weight < 85 kg.
We advise to wear long trousers for the horse riding. Please bring boots or shoes because it is not safe to ride barefoot or with sandals.
This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, children under the age of 4 years or people with back or neck problems.
On the rare occasion that we should be required to cancel a tour, we will inform you in advance and offer a different tour date, an alternative tour or provide a full refund

Picked up from our hotel, assigned horses before riding. Quick tip for beginners in horse riding. Rode the horses along the beach and thru the village. And once done was sent back to hotel.

Enjoyable, eventually!

We had booked for the sunset tour but were left waiting at the resort. Viator were not helpful but the receptionist followed it up for us locally. There had been a breakdown of communication somewhere and we were offered a daytime ride which we were fortunately able to accept. We enjoyed riding on the beach and along the water’s edge. As we were leaving, another family were also trying to resolve a discrepancy in what they were being offered compared to what they thought they had booked.

Pony riding

While I’m pleased we did this trip, I wouldn’t necessarily jump to do it again. I’ve got many years riding experience, but this did mean I was assigned a pony who was somewhat hot headed and very sensitive. This was fine for me and admittedly made it more enjoyable as someone who likes a challenging ride (at no time did i feel unsafe), but I’d be conscious about confirming you’re an experienced rider, I was very much left to my own devices. The yard is very run down, but the ponies seem to be well looked after and adored by the staff. My boyfriend was led by a guide who was riding and leading, he’d never ridden before and did seem to enjoy it! Each couple / group were assigned their own guide and rode separately which was nice. The beach is very pretty with views of chicken island, but we spent significant time riding in the ‘countryside’ which was essentially an area of marshland which we lapped. I did have the opportunity to have a canter along the beach, which was encouraged, but only by holding back to create myself some space. Our guide didn’t speak English but managed to communicate the horses names to us and did ensure we were okay. I will highlight that this is a PONY riding experience. None of their ponies are above maybe 14hh, thankfully myself and my partner were lightweight enough (though my boyfriend too tall for the pony he was on), but I do think this should be noted! If you’re above 5’7 or over 80kg I’d say look elsewhere! An enjoyable experience nontheless, the family on the yard were pleasant and smiley, particularly the two ladies. We did 2 hours, 1 hour would be plenty.

The Best Day Ever

This was up there with one of the best days of our lives. We booked the two hour ride and 1 hour swimming with horses. The scenery is just breathtaking and you get to experience riding on the beach and through some lush greenery. The horses are beautiful and well looked after and the team are so friendly and accomodating. If you are comfortable you can even take the horses for a canter down the beach. it ended with the coolest experience ever - swimming bareback with the horses in the ocean and splashing around with them. One of the team also took some great photos and videos while we were in the water for us to keep. Thank you for the most memorable day.
