Trip Cancelled

Trip was cancelled but I wasn’t informed - when bus didn’t arrive I contacted local operator who said they had advised Viator the previous week that they weren’t running an English language tour and that Viator should have informed me. Instead they confirmed it two days beforehand and took the money from my credit card. I had to go through their online help centre to request a refund - it wasn’t done automatically. (This request was dealt with promptly). So my advice is check in advance that trip is running to give yourself time to make alternative arrangements. Be aware that having a confirmation email and number doesn’t guarantee departure. Rating given is for Viator.
