Itinerary
Your experience begins with pickup from your Kos hotel (selected hotels only). After boarding your comfortable air-conditioned minivan, settle in for the drive to the center of Zia.
Upon arriving in Zia, set out to explore the enchanting little village independently and at your own pace. Wander the atmospheric cobblestoned streets, admire the domed Orthodox churches, shop for local arts and crafts at the small shops, and enjoy drinks or dinner on a terrace while the sun goes down.
After the spectacular sunset, get back on the bus for the return drive to Kos where your tour ends with drop-off at select hotels.

Do some research on restaurants beforehand if you intend to have dinner there as the best restaurants with good views of the sunset always get booked in advance.
Nice small village Zia with a beautiful sunset. The transfer was very good in luxury small van and perfect on time.
The actual trip to Zia, the village, the place where we ate and watched the sunset (East Blue - highly recommend ) and the sunset itself was well worth the eventual upset after our driver left early leaving us stranded half way up the mountain !
Thankfully the restaurant phoned us a taxi and we were able to get back to our hotel.
I had to prove we were at the pickup point before the pickup time before I got a refund.
Be warned, the drivers always leave early, we had two other trips on Kos and the drivers both left early.
Get there 10 minutes before pickup time is my advice !!
A must have trip, best sunset we've seen any where in the world.
Picked up on the dot, dropped in zia and taken home on time.
We ate at Olympia (superb) then walked up a quiet road to the old water mill and had a lovely banana split, drinks and the best view.
Zia is a beautiful little town with lovely shops and lovely eateries. The local people were very welcoming. The sunset was beautiful. Definitely recommend for an evening trip.
Hotel pick up was on time ,zai was a lovely places to visit ,sunset was spectacular,lots of nice restaurants too eat in ,would recommend people to visit
If you book this trip with viatour make sure you contact them for the exact time of your pick up as it differs from what is advertised picked up in a brand new black transit van the driver was the most miserable man never spoke at all until we got to zia then when he did speak make sure uour back for 845pm he could have told the people on board that you need to book a table at a restaurant if uou wished to eat nothing whatsoever silent going back to kos town put it this way I won't be using via your again
Booked with this company which was easy. Informed about pick up time and location which was close to the hotel. Driver arrived on time, who was very friendly. Only 10 people in total on a lovely air conditioned bus. The price of the tour was excellent £38 for 2 adults. Arrived in Zia village which was beautiful. Lovely little shops selling local produce and hand made gifts. Lovely restaurants also. We ate at Olympia2 which had been recommended to us. A lovely restaurant with roof top terrace. Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices are good and portion sizes large. Food was lovely. I had beetroot starter with garlic dip and pitta, partner had garlic mushrooms. For main, I had pork chop which was huge and partner had chicken fillet which was also big. A litre of wine and the total cost was €70. To end the evening we saw the most amazing sunset. We met with a lovely Dutch couple who was sat on the next table. Thank you for an excellent trip. Highly recommend
Unfortunately we was left as driver picked up wrong couple , however I text the company and they quickly rectified it and sent a private driver about 25 mins later.
Lovely views and plenty of bars and restaurants there
It was about a 40 minute drive. The excursion is just the transportation. The driver was very good. The town is very charming.
What an amazing evening!
We got picked up from our hotel at 5pm by our lovely driver George. He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. He spoke about the different parts of the island as we were driving through which made it interesting to learn about.
Once we arrived we had a look around the quirky little shops and bought some souvenirs. We went for dinner and drinks at Oromedon and sat up on the second floor. The sun set at around half past 7 and we had the most perfect view. This was a highlight of our holiday. Would HIGHLY reccomend for a beautiful evening. George came and picked us up around 8pm and took us back to our hotel. All in all 10/10 experience!!
Lovely evening trip to Zia - well organised, lovely please to wander around. Loads of choices of places to eat.
Beautiful views and lovely to see another part of Kos. If you are travelling in October make sure to wrap up warm because it’s cold up there! We found that we had finished looking around and still had an hour to spare waiting for the bus but really pleased we did the trip.
A must to go see when in Kos . Would have loved to go earlier and enjoy some food and wine . Gets pretty busy so maybe off peak would be best time to visit
Sunset amazing beautiful area good choice of restaurants. Driver was hard to find and spoke little english
Very nice relaxing evening, after all the whole purpose is to watch the sun go down. The view over the sea changes in colour and there are plenty of places to view it from. We had no problem getting a table about half an hour before sundown and enjoyed a beautiful cheese in pastry dish in Olympia 2. If you fancy a drink on a balcony over the valley try the Water Mill which is up hill towards the church
Start with bit disappointment - we book with the company because they offer pick up from hotel . But day before we receive text with pick up point what is something new . One of us is disabled and walking is difficult.
On the way have some places with very bumpy road ( very very bumpy) I think driver find funny but wasn’t funny when you have spine problems.
Same was on the way back but we was prepared and on our feet .
The sunset was beautiful and all you needed is around.
We won’t book again regarding bad experiences with travel
Ensure you get to the collection place in good time as the tour operator arrived 10 minutes early. Lovely air conditioned coach and plenty of time to look at the shops, have a meal and enjoy the sunset.
Lovely evening out and 3.5 hours in Zia just right amount of time to wander round shops and get a meal. Lots of places to eat but some with best sunset views get booked up
We went the very last moment of the season, bring something warm it gets very cold. Food and atmosphere was great and great to see the shops and sunset!
Poor. Ticket stated 5.30pm pick up, all the previous tours we've booked once you select your hotel it calculates your pick up time for checkout. Messaged me whilst I was out, no attempt to call or see we had been made aware, saying pickup at 16.40. called at 16.30 and told to be in reception immediately. Impossible with children and oaps. I said we would cancel for a refund, to which they agreed. They have sent back 30 euro out of 100. What are we paying you 70 euro for? It's a rip off, a private taxi to zia is 70 euro return for the same amount of people, or 12 euro per person (6 euro for kids) from ANY of the local tour operators. Don't waste your money on these con artists and pop into one of the local tour providers and get it for nearly half price.
Pick up from outside hotel on time. Air conditioned bus. Took approx 30 mins to get to zia. Lovely village with so many shops and restaurants. Great view of sunset. We arrived at 5:30 and got picked up at 9
Great experience zia is beautiful enjoyed my trip sunset was amazing nice shops bars and restaurants to have a nice meal and then watch the sunset the driver was friendly turned up on time and great communication with agent.
Great trip, driver was fab, place was beautiful, couldn't find fault with anything and the driver even pointed out other places to go while he was driving.
I originally booked for Monday but this was cancelled due "to bad weather " (the weather was absolutely lovely) so I suspect it was for administrative reasons, a bit frustrating, but I was offered Wednesday instead which fortunately worked fine for me. I received a WhatsApp message with instructions for my pick up which was perfect. Everything was on time and was well organised and the driver was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Good, careful coach driver, very prompt but got there to see last 5 minutes of sunset, 3 & a half hours way too long, shops very samey, full of tourist tat apart from the odd one or 2. Ate in Avli taverna where food was awful, we ended up giving it to the cats! Beautiful streets with nice views had you gone earlier, 2 hours max would have been enough here. Overall disappointing.
All good ,driver and pick up on time,my advice don't go in the first bar or restaurant shop around first
Lovely place to visit, but claim your spot by the wall asap for the view as gets very busy at that point for viewing.
Restaurants busy too with best views.
