I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island. Colin was an amazing guide, offering a local perspective, access to unique locations, as well as education on island history and wild life. He was a joy to spend a full day with and we saw everything we could have asked for and more. Don’t hesitate to book!

We needed to be dropped off at 6. Even though Colin took us to visit a lot of hidden gems at KI, he still managed to got us back right on time. Thank you, Colin. This was our second time on Kangaroo island, and we booked this exact tour again. We were not disappointed. We were picked up from our accommodation near Pelican lagoon, instead of the company's pick up location. Frank was amazing, taking extra effort on all occasions to make sure we spent as much time as we wanted on all stops. It's the little things that count. Choosing an excellent restaurant with vegan options, stopping on many occasions to see koalas, kangaroos and echidnas on the way, providing binoculars while sightseeing, and still managing to visit all areas included in the itinerary. This was why we got back to our accommodation at 9pm!

Great overview of the island! Hit most of the popular spots. We had some bad weather so had to change a few plans but they had a back up plan ready. Gave me a good taste of the islands best nature spots and got to see plenty of seals, sea lions and koalas.

Colin told us many interesting and funny tales and was quite entertaining. He made sure we all saw our fair share of koalas. We saw a koalas on a tree beside the road and he stopped for us to rake a good look. We were NOT in a pick up hotel for this tour; regardless, Colin was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off in the evening. The tour itself was also amazing, and he also highlighted many other areas fo us to check out in the following days. My wife was vegan and he took extra effort to book a vegan serving restaurant for us.

Collins is an experienced and helpful guide, taking us to see koalas and kangaroos. We saw quite a lot of them! And view of Seal Bay, Vivvone Bay and Flinders Chase National Park were stunning! They will definitely leave us a life long memory. Thank you Collins!

The driver was amazing and taught us so many things about KI that we all were not aware about. I really enjoyed seeing the atmosphere of all the KI and had fun touching the Kangaroos. We enjoyed look at koalas and the seals.

Waste of $2k for tour that didn’t happen

Do NOT book this tour. We had confirmation and paid in advance. Our tour was scheduled for yesterday. Guide didn’t show up. Hotel, another tour co, and I tried to reach the tour co for over an hour. No response. When we finally found an employee, she profusely apologies and blamed the mix up on a former employee. We were out on the private tour list, not the cruise ship list. Our tour was scheduled for cruise ship day, so they just didn’t bother to show up or contact us. When I stated we paid almost $2kUS and came over from Sydney for the tour, she acted like she was doing us a favor by refunding our fee. I get that mistakes happen; what the co does to fix the mix up is key. This co - they didn’t care. She refunded our fee and thought all was great. We confirmed our return transport to the airport and were assured they would transport us. We went next door to the other tour co. They spent over an hour trying to find us another tour, private guide… we couldn’t change our flight, so had to stay in tiny Kingscote. No tour, no rental cars available. Absolute waste of $. Tour co didn’t show up to take us to this airport this morning.

Being the only person on the tour meant I had a much better personal experience. Curly was very easy to get on with and very informative, like a good mate in the end me. Saw all the highlights of the island in the short time available. Some very stunning and varied scenery.
