Our “tour guides” were very friendly and knowledgeable. The dolphins were very playful and followed the boat as we went around the harbor. We got ample time to watch them swim and we had great views both inside the boat and on the bow. Also got to see the seals frolic, sleep and swim. Again plenty of time to enjoy them before heading back in. Would recommend this tour to anyone

What a fantastic experience! We saw several dolphin pods up close and also saw 2 groups of seals. It was really interesting seeing the rock formations. The crew were really friendly, knowledgeable and gave excellent commentary. A must do!

Tour Guides were very friendly, very informative and very competent.
We saw dolphins, seals and a white breasted sea eagle.
It was great also to be out on the ocean.

It was nonrefundable! Booked, then informed it was nonrefundable. Unable to go because we learned we had to be back on board before the tour would be complete. Attempted to contact Viator to see if we change our time , but they never responded. However the tour company did reach out to us & said they would contact Viator to help us get a refund. Haven’t heard back yet. Very disappointed!

The ocean tour was great. The boat was lovely and the skipper a thoroughly nice chap. We saw dolphins, sea lions and had a thoroughly nice time.

This was the one and only excursion we booked through Viator for my family on our Celebrity Cruise holiday. The first time booking through Viator as well. And after an honest mistake, I thought our cruise was anchoring earlier but it was anchoring at the same time as our Ocean safari booking, and so we missed this tour and paid full price-$286. My family and I were ready to go but couldn’t get off the cruise ship. I called the company 2 hours before, left a voicemail and also messaged through Viator to let them know our situation. Finally someone called me and said unfortunately there are no other available times and we lose all our money because we weren’t there. I understand if we just changed our mind and didn’t show up but this was out of our control, as we couldn’t get off the ship and I tried contacting someone prior.
I’m so disappointed as my boys were really looking forward to this tour as well. It’s ruined our entire day knowing we lost all our money and didn’t get to go on the tour.
It’s also not easy to contact Viator to speak to someone, which is frustrating.

There’s cancellation policies with any tour or experience you book. That’s how businesses operate. You booked a 9am cruise. You phoned at 7am when the office was not open. Our team phoned you at 8.45am to see where you were and you advised you were not off the ship and were demanding a full refund. Out of courtesy we offered you a free trip for our Adelaide based business as you were going there the next day or you could have your booking put on hold to use within a 3 year time frame (which is transferable to another guest). To expect business to refund tickets for non attendance of a tour when it was completely sold out is absolutely ludicrous regardless of the situation. The ship was always due to get in at 10am so perhaps you should’ve researched first before booking. We don’t know the booking came from someone on a cruise ship as it’s our public cruise. It’s a shame you missed it as it was a great day - we offered you alternatives which you chose not to take.

Elijah and Alex were awesome guides , relaxed and full of great information. We loved our ocean safari and would highly recommend to others ! We lived seeing the beauty of the wild creatures and learning about kangaroo island . I would appreciate a bit of First Nations context around the Island and its custodianship .

The narrative by the operators was extremely interesting and knowledgeable.
Also, how the Dolphins came very close to the boat, but with the Seals, they were resting on the rocks and not in and around the water.

We do not control the weather or your cruise ships decisions and we were happy to place your booking on hold so you could come out with us at a later time. According to our records we also offered a refund of your ticket, which is not our usual protocol, but we wanted to go the extra mile.

We had a fabulous time on the coastal safari, highlights were seeing the dolphins swimming and showing off alongside the boat. The weather was perfect and the crew Illija and Gracie were brilliant. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

The crew were great They took us out on the water and we had dolphins swimming right along side of our boat. The waters were rough that day, but still a great time. A very fun experience!

Candice, our driver, made the ride fun and informative at the same time. We seem koalas, learnt about bush tucker and went on the sand dunes. Scenery was spectacular.

We run Coastal Safari's on a boat or swim with Dolphins-Seals, not land-based tours and we do not have a Candice working for us. Seeing the dolphins throughout the tour was fantastic. The boat also felt very safe. Organizers were wonderful with their commentary as well as finding the dolphins. Seals were fewer in number and mainly sunning themselves on the rocks. The coastline is also so beautiful.

Seeing the dolphins was about all there was to the whole trip. There were no seals, which sometimes happens and despite the best efforts of the captain and Deckie, there was not much to the experience.

We understand it’s impossible to please everyone 100% of the time. Seeing wild dolphins is an amazing experience and I glad you got to experience this. Our guides provided history of the area and it’s wildlife as you cruised ancient coastline. 99.9% of guests love this. As mentioned in our booking information seal numbers are at the lowest in December. I do hope you enjoyed the remainder of Kangaroo Island for its natural beauty.

This is a fantastic way to get a closer look at the pristine waters of Kangaroo Island. We loved seeing the dolphins and watching them play and swim alongside the boat. It was a real highlight of our trip and an experience I will gladly repeat. It was so worth it. Eligah and Kimberley were fantastic hosts and very knowledgeable. They made sure everyone had a chance to see the wildlife in their natural habitat and were extremely welcomibg. I highly recomend this tour.

A very enjoyable experience, although the staff were young they were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They made an effort to locate wildlife for us to see and were successful. It would have been a nice boat ride every without the wildlife.
The only downside was they didn’t have any knowledge of our booking through viator, luckily there was enough room for us anyway.
