The Departure time is around 7:00am. However, we would vary this time depending on the guests request. But we suggest that the Departure time be before at least 10:00am so that we can slowly complete all stops in the itinerary without rushing. In-order for the guide / driver to reach the pick-up location (must be in Kandy), please provide the stay details at least 1 hour prior to departure time.

Our tour guide - Malan was the BEST! It was an incredible day, we drove thru the mountains, toured a tea planation (he picked) lunched at a secret spot. Truly it was an amazing tour & Day. Thank you Malan for being such an amazing guide.

Great day out winding through the hillsides on the up counties of sri-lanka. Our guide Naazy took us to all the places of interest. The tea tastings were great as was the visit to the famous post office in Nuwara eliya. The weather was drizzly rain, very typical for this high altitude area, however we were still able to enjoy a walk round beautiful victoria park. Nazzy is an excellent driver and navigated the roads very well.

A really enjoyable experience in the comfort of a car. Got to see lots of tea plantations and waterfalls in Nuwara Eliya. Cham was a good guide and assisted to take many pics. I requested not to be taken to the gem factory and went to Damro tea plantation instead. There was no hardselling on the tour and I really appreciate it. However the roads are very bendy so if you are prone to motion sickness it's better to take some pills and medication.

This tour is a very efficient way to see some of the countryside and to see Nuwara Eliya if you are short on time. We really enjoyed it, and our tour guide Chami made it an excellent experience.
I’ve included an itinerary , but I’m guessing it varies based on the guide and day.
-Pickup at 8:30am
-Stop at batik factory, gem mining factory, silk shop, herbal garden
-Stop at Storefield Tea Factory for a tour and tasting
-Head to a viewpoint above a wood crafting shop
-Have lunch at Ramboda Falls Hotel, which has an incredible view of the falls
-Head up to Nuwara Eliya and stop at the post office and Gregory Lake
-Visit Grand Hotel and have a quick tour
-Visit Hill Club and have a quick tour
-Drive back to our Kandy hotel
-End tour around 6:30pm
Pros:
-Chami was a great tour guide, and was waiting for us exactly on time, so we started promptly. He made sure we were comfortable, and explained the sights around us throughout the trip
-Chami did an incredible job navigating the winding roads of Sri Lanka, even when it was raining
-We were able to take a lot of great photos !
-Overall we left the experience happy and were glad we got to see as much as we did
-We learnt a lot about how tea is made in our tour
-The view of Ramboda Falls from our lunch spot was incredible.
-The architecture in Nuwara Eliya is stunning, and we felt we had enough time to soak it in and tour some unique buildings
-Chami stopped at some local fruit stalls (my husband really wanted king coconut, and Chami made it happen!)
Cons:
-The various factory tours at the beginning felt unnecessary, but these are expected on tours like this. So, just be mentally prepared.
-We expected to tour one of those big tea estates you see in the pictures. You do see the estates on the car ride, and Chami gave us an option to go have a drink at Damro, but it wasn’t actually a part of our tour. It would be nice if we just had one tea factory and estate stop, at a big spot closer to Nuwara Eliya.
Things to note:
-Nuwara Eliya is a high elevation and can feel cold. Recommend wearing long pants, closed toe shoes, and bringing a light jacket
-Make sure to bring something for car sickness if there is a potential for that, the roads are long and winding at times and we were glad we had some anti-nausea pills!

We enjoyed a very enjoyable day out with Dinesh visiting a tea plantation and factory and saw a few waterfalls. We also had lunch at a restaurant with a superb view.

G is a great guy. Very knowledgable, friendly and good English. Happy to answer any questions. Enjoyed the tea plantation and views along the ride. Gem shop and museum was great too. Not sure about the heath spa massage though as the oil was a bit smelly and took me 3 showers to get rid of the smell and I’ve had much more relaxing massages so don’t feel pressured into having this….

My guide and driver offered a good service, I just personally did not enjoy the tea plantation tour. The waterfall was very nice to see.

What can I say. Cheap trip, with a lot to see. Beatiful views from multiple viewpoints, stops by interesting waterfalls, stunning tea plantations all the way up to Nuwara Eliya. Visit of the Damro tea factory, where they make the original Ceylon tea, free tour around and tea to taste aswell.
Driver Asela has been superb throughout the whole journey with great attitude, willing to stop anywhere we wanted and knowledgeable about anything we asked.
I Highly reccomend.
