This tour was really just a transfer service. We enjoyed the day, but felt the guide wasn't particularly forthcoming with any history, or helpful information on Kagoshima.

The tour was a great overview of Kagoshima. We were late to the pick up because the taxi line was so long. The company sent a message to our driver in Japanese as to where we could meet up with the group. A lovely day!

The tour was good but I think that there is just not a lot to see there. We thought ferry trip was included but we did not do that?

Ms. Nakase’s warm & friendly personality made us feel like we were long time friends. Her knowledge of the sites were informative. We visited Shiroyama Observatory, Sengan-en & shopping in Tenmonkan. Overall a wonderful tour that we recommend to everyone with Ms . Nakase. When we return, we will request Ms. Nakase again. Thank you so much! Aloha!

Very shady company

This tour company totally ripped us off. They charged extra for taxi transfers and only gave us a one way transfer which cost us $ 72.00. We had to pay for our own taxi to return to our cruise ship. The taxi was only $ 23.00. Also they had a very nice lady by the name of Naomi, she did speak a little bit of English but not fluently. She got on a hop on hop off bus with us that translated everything in English. The price for the hop on hop off was only $25 - $30 and they charged us $ 104.00 for this tour plus the taxi fair of $ 72.00. Total waste of our money, It was a rip off.

Naomi was an excellent guide. She is knowledgeable and subtle in her enlightening observations. Her English is fluent and easy to understand. She goes out of her way to accommodate her clients’ requests and has shown us the very best we could have hope to see.

Half day in Kagoshima

The volcano views were excellent. On and off the bus was a great way of getting around. Strolling the temples and shops was fun too. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and good fun.
