Getting there at the very ed of the season was wonderful - gondola was shared with just eight others. Fall colors were amazing, as was the view from the top of the mountain. Last visit here (5 years ago?) didn't have walkway out, over the area - a definite plus!

Amazing waffles and views during this adventure! Take an umbrella and/ or a raincoat because weather came in quickly! Enjoyed a Baileys and hot chocolate while we waited for the rain to pass, then gorgeous day again. Highly recommend!

View and bar great, everything else was horrible rooms food service etc. overpriced and under delivered and massive invasion of bugs in cottage which we were put in and we did not book. Horrible overall experience except the views and bar!

Beautiful view and great hiking trails for different vantage points. Parasailers were there funto watch them jump.

Amazing! A must do. The views are extraordinary and you have to get a waffle add corbett cabin. The day was a perfectly stunning clear day.

This is a great side adventure. The ride on the Tram was so scenic and the young man narration of the tram and the mtn was great! The added bonus were the delicious waffles at the top. I only wished I had dressed warmer to explore more trails.

We very much enjoy the Airel Tram Ride. The ride to the top of the mountain was smooth the views amazing and the waffles at Corbin's Cabin were delicious.

Great Tram ride to the top of the mountain and from there spectacular 360 degree views. Trams run every 15 minutes so stay as long as you like. The altitude is 10,450 feet so drink plenty of water and take water with you.

The weather last Sunday (08.17) was rainy and there was lightening. The tram was "on Hold" when we arrived (2 PM). We waited for the entire afternoon. It restarted about 4 PM and we rushed to the Tram. By the time we arrived a few minutes later it had been put on HOLD again. The Tram closed at 5 PM without ever starting again.
We were expecting a complete refund, but the Tram people could do nothing, referring us to the vendor, Viator. Even though there were several references to a VIator Help Center, in fact it took a lot of digging to find an actual "Help" phone number,
Calling that number, a distance person said it would take 72 hours or so to decide IF we would get a refund. I don't understand why there should be any question since the voucher was never redeemed (thanks to the Tram Desk person who advised us that there was a chance that the Tram might not start again while we were in Jackson)...
At this point, almost three days later we are waiting for our refund.

Thank you for sharing this. We’re sorry for the frustration. Due to lightning, the Tram will go on weather hold for everyone’s safety. As tickets are purchased through Viator, refund approval must come through the Viator Help Center; we can’t issue refunds on-site. As your voucher wasn’t redeemed, a refund will be approved from our side.

David was very knowledgable, very informative about history and explained with clear details. Great experience. Got to watch moose, pronghorn, elk and bison. Highly recommend him as tour guide. Excellent.

The tram ride was fantastic. But I purchased my tickets via Viator because I thought it would save time at the tram ride. As it turned out, I still had to check in with ticket counter and I could have saved $102 because they had a family rate that the Viator did not offer
