Early pick up (kept informed by text) and headed out to meet the other group members. 5 in total. We visited two wineries (local family and a bigger mainstream winery). Both were very welcoming and took the time to explain the winemaking process. Whether you are new to wine or experienced drinker a really good tour, we tasted over 10 wines and really enjoyed the experience. You could purchase wines if you wished but no pressure to. A great way to spend an afternoon and to enjoy wine and see the Istrian countryside.

Our guide was friendly but not very engaging. The owner of the first vineyard was very sweet and even though we did not like the wine the experience was very pleasant. The attendant at the second vineyard just poured us different wines and every time we asked a question she would answer that she did not know. Overall the experience was slightly disappointing and I would not really recommend it.

Very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Three very different wineries round the Pula to Rovinj area, all with excellent wines. Our guide Stefan was very good and we were lucky to be the only ones on the tour so we had undivided attention. Would recommend.

Istria is an important wine region and we can find exelent wineries in this area from Pula to Rovinj and Stefan knows them very well. Sometimes it can even happen that you have a private tour if you are lucky enough.
