Anubis was BRILLIANT! Hope you get him as a tour guide.
The whole trip was brilliant, you fit a lot in.
The coach is the toughest part but once you're in Luxor- it’s breathtaking what you'll see and learn.
Bring cash its a MUST, you’ll need it for drinks on the coach and for using the toilet at stops (which is 20 egp)
There isn't an ATM about to use at stops. Our ATM at the hotel ran out of pounds so we had to borrow money from the tour guide- he offered it which was so kind.
Make sure you go on the Nile to Banana Island, its an added on excursion but such an experience, only £10 BP,
you'll see animals and get fed fresh fruits which feels nice after being on the coach.
Bring a loose shirt to cover you at Karnak as its hot walking around in the sun all day. And comfortable shoes is a MUST!
Buying entrance Fees through Viator is a good idea also as it takes the pressure off.

The Luxor trip from Hurghada was awesome. Our tour guide Mr. Nessar was very friendly and knowledgeable about his Egyptian history. The tour company was on time to pick us up at our hotel. We had great lunch and for an extra €10pp we went to visit the banana island to feed the Monkeys which was ok but not extra ordinary as being sold. The ride down the Nile river was def amazing and that would be enough to cool of from the heat, it felt like going down in history as it would have been in the Time when the Pharaohs ruled. The temple of King Ramses and King Tut was nice. The visit to the Valley of the King's was def worthed. For an extra €35 for two persons we were allowed to enter the tomb of King Tut to see his Mummy. Advisable is the visit during the time of the year, now in June the weather was extremely hot 41⁰C we had 3 sights to visit by the time we got to Valley of the King's I was drained off my energy and already drank plenty of water to keep hydrated. I do believe that around September to February the weather should be a bit better. But a must see and bucket list worthed. Any museum around the world can never top this excursion.

Our tour consisted of the 6 people in our group - 4 adults and 2 toddlers- and 2 people from another hotel. Our guide was not very informative and rushed through the sites without giving time to take photos. We were told there would be time on the way out of the temples/tombs but he never stopped to allow it. We had to race to keep up and the kids basically got dragged along so we didn't lose sight of him. He straight up lied to us about the opening time of the restaurant for lunch by telling us it didn't open until 1230 so we would stop at an oil/perfume factory until the restaurant was open. When we politely refused, magically the restaurant was open at 1130, and we were not the first guests. He also was not informative about taking/leaving our bags and how long we would be away from the van. The vendors at the sites were very pushy and annoying (not the fault of the tour but certainly didn't add any positive emotions to the day). We ended the day at the Valley of the Kings - about 130pm- and after a morning of running around in the heat, we went inside one tomb and didn't bother with the rest due to being tired and hot. This tour would benefit from reorganization and seeing the valley of the kings first in the morning when it's cooler and people have more energy and willingness to spend extra money to see King Tut's tomb. We were not impressed at all with the quality of this tour and would not recommend it.

It was a brilliant experience, albeit scorching. The bus was air conditioned which was an absolute lifesaver and we met some lovely people on the tour.
There was never enough time to spend at any of the promised stops. And we were made to stop at an alabaster shop which nobody wanted instead of getting a proper photo opportunity for the collusi of memnon.
Even the valley of the kings was a whistle stop tour with having to basically run in and out of only three tombs.
There was finally Nile Boat ride which was effectively forced on us for an additional €15 per person. Which wasn’t mentioned in the programme. It was a brilliant experience but paying more when we had a specific itinerary was not very good.
We did have a good day, but this was spoiled by being rushed around, paying extra and tour operators getting quite annoyed when you didn’t want to pay extra for something

It was overall a great trip. However I suggest for your operate to provide complimentary water for people. We don’t all have 2 dollars or euros for a bottle of water. I almost passed out from heat and dehydration.

Egypt Voyage and Team were wonderful!
They made our trip to Egypt more memorable .
Their communication was excellent! Mr. Ali reached out to us a couple of times before the trip to make sure everything was fine. Pick up was prompt and Eid , our Driver , was nice and pointed out important locations on our way to Hurghada to meet the bus.
Our Tour Guide, Eslam was excellent and very pleasant , ready to answer all our questions. Ahmed , our Driver, and Mohammad were patient and wonderful. Roman, our Local Tour Guide , was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us in detail . He did not make us feel rushed at all.
The buffet lunch at the Hawaiian Restaurant was delicious. They offered different kinds of Egyptian food.
The boat ride along the Nile River going to the Valley of the Kings was a treat!
All in all, it was awesome, we had so much fun and it was a perfect day.

I wouldn't recommend travelling by bus as it took 5 hrs each way. Plane would be my preference next time even if more expensive.
Picked up from hotel at correct time, travel guide was excellent.
At Luxor the new guide wasn't there to meet us abd we had yo wait 25mins in 46 degree temperatures. He raced us around Karnok Temple, shouting for us to hurry up. I myself have a knee and leg problem and 2 ladies in our group had a walking aid!
For the whole of the tour he seemed to be racing around, not allowing us time to take the pictures we needed. Visiting Luxor is a once in a lifetime chance for us and we wanted to enjoy it.
He even asked if we could use our credit card to pay for the whole group to enter Valley of the Kings as his card " didn't have enough credit". This I found totally unprofessional!
He was very knowledgeable and chatty and did slow down towards the end of the tour.
I was pleased I went on this tour and would use Viator again, but the guide needs to appreciate the age group of the people pn his tour and the ability to walk in that 46 degree heat.

Really wonderful experience! We felt well taken care of, the schedule was great, food and bus were nice and everything went smoothly. Abduuuuuul was a very welcoming, kind and entertaining guide.
Potential negatives: I would have preferred more historical insight as part of the tour because the sights don't have many signs. Also, everything goes very quickly when there's money involved - so just be prepared to consider whether you actually want this extra amenity on offer or not, and make sure to ask for any applicable discounts when they collect money for the museum tickets (e.g. student).

It was excellent. They picked us up on time with a nice new mini bus. The guide was friendly and good. We had a nice lunch, a boat trip and we visited all listed in the add. They were looking after us. No issues at all.

To see Karnak temple and a couple of famous tombs. Lunch in between was too speedy and too crowded. Mixing Russian and English speaking guides was not a good idea. Our guide was not eloquent enough and the tourist bus was jam packed with no aeration on it.

Communication and travel one star!!
Was only told of pick up 12 hours before. Taxi arrived half hour late. Were told we were being picked up to then go on a bus, mini van arrived and then wert straight to Luxor. Was having panic attacks because we didn't know who was picking us up and if we were even on the right taxi.
Eventually arrived at Luxor, sights were incredible and tour guide very helpful.
Please, communicate better and respond to questions!

Not impressed with this trip. It started badly when the pickup was an hour late. The tour operators appeared to be conducting some sort of scam with tickets, asking children to under report their age, sending in two people on one ticket, and asking for the original paper tickets to be returned to them for some reason. Also wasn't impressed that people on the same bus, taking exactly the same trip as us had paid less. This is also dishonest pricing. We didn't get to see the colossi of Memnon because of timing issues. The hard sell on an 'optional' extra at the end that required extra payment was also not welcome.

This experience was out of this world. It was so well organised, the guides were knowledgeable not only on the places we went but on tourists. We were given the information we needed and Theban given time to go off and take photos and given the opportunity to ask questions. This was perfect, not everyone wants a full history so being able to go and see things and take photos while others stayed to ask questions was just perfect. We weren’t rushed around, everything was explained in advance. I have nothing but praise for this experience. It was perfect!

We awaited our pick up and no one turned up. From 4.15am we waited and tried calling but there was no answer and still no one showed up.
Very disappointed in this as I have still had no contact despite emailing asking for an explanation!

The trip was well organized. Due to the high amount of Russian people in our bus, we only had a Russian guide in our bus. Later-on, when approaching Luxor, an English speaking guide joined us and we had some explanation as well.
The lunch was very basic and not recommendable (but included).
Our biggest frustration was that the guide extended our trip with a boat trip to "crocodile island" for 10 euro per person. It was not obliged but if we didn't do this, we had to wait for 1 hour on the bus until the others were back. That's blackmail. On top of that, crocodile island was nothing more than a couple of shops, 5 monkeys in a cage and 2 crocodiles in a poor sink. Really shameful. They shouldn't do that. The trip to Luxor was fine until that point. A pity that they screwed up the trip at the end. It gave us a bad feeling.

Excellent trip. Very well organized. The guide was very helpful and full of local knowledge. Expect a long bus journey if your pickup point is Hurghada. We were accompanied by, what seemed, armed government security which made us feel very safe travelling across the desert. Hot Meal provided and fresh fruit while crossing the Nile which was much appreciated. We recommend not to visit crocodile island as we felt it should not be an attraction due to the animal welfare issues. Overall, excellent trip and great value for Money.

Day didn’t start great as they told us 4.30am and didn’t pick us up till 5.15! There was no communication of this.
the long journey there was made even longer with the check points which seem a little strange as nothing really happens just makes big queues.
The tour guide was great once in Luxor , he was so helpful with our autistic daughter and really knowledgeable .
The sights were busy but great. You could spend weeks there and not see it all.
The lunch was mediocre however was in a nice location. Drinks aren’t included but not silly prices.
The boat across the Nile was a nice touch.
Valley of the kings and hatephsut temple were fabulous to see. Ticket gets you 3 tombs, you can’t choose which 3 it’s which are open. Apparently it changes often to stop wear on them.
The journey back was long and boring and the constant loud music was a little annoying.

NOT IN A MINIVAN. The trip was nothing as described in the trip details on the website. We felt extremely cheated and deceived. 6 hours into the trip and we still weren't even on our way to Luxor. The bus continuously stopped every 10 minutes to pick people up along the coast line. The MASSIVE tour bus was fully booked and masks are not required.
We took the first bus back to El Gouna at the first rest stop.
We were offered a refund, but as expected, we have received nothing.

Terrible company. They cancelled our tour the day before due to "weather" which is laughable since it's always 40C and clear skies. We woke up at 4AM to a message from the operator stating that the tour was "rescheduled" to a date we couldn't possibly make it (5 days later).. We had to figured out a new plan that same morning. The silver-lining to the story was that we ended up taking a Go-Bus to Luxor form Hurghada (way cheaper), and we managed to find a guide on the way there who was ten times better than anything this company offers and also cheaper... Stay away from these irresponsible people if you don't want surprises.

Fantastic daytrip to Luxor. Pick up from Hurghada was around 4.40 am and we got back around 9.30pm. Said was our guide who was extremely knowledgeable. We also had the Nile boat trip which you have to pay separately - 10 euros per person. The sights are amazing, we were glad we took this trip.

Long trip, but absolutely worth it. Our guide was very passionate about his job. The day was packed with interesting sites and he told us a lot about the Egyptian culture and history. Boat trip was not included, we paid 100 Egyptian pounds pp. Lunch was nice and there was enough food. Bring something for the long ride (4,5-5 hours one way Hurghada - Luxor by microbus).

We had a really good guide, who gave us loads of information and took us to all the good spots. Luxor was amazing and we got to see everything as advertised. But they also took us to shops (alabaster and papyrus factory and shop) which wasn’t in the itinerary and the prices there were way high. Also be aware there might be small children on the trip which doesn’t really make sense being a historical tour. Overall still satisfied with the tour for the price (:

Kindly put in mind that the tour is not private, it's sharing your small group not more than 8 people and in your day were only 7 people. 2 German they had their own guide and 4 English with little baby and your had your own guide(almost private). The stops you mention was not more than 20 mintues in every place without any pushing to buy anything. It is our clients request sometimes and every step during the day is controlled. You will never miss a stop and you will never be in hurry for any stop. Again thanks a lot for your opinion and we sure will put it in mind.
