Advert says small group of 8 people max but there was 13 people on our bus and we joined with another group so there was close to 30 people in our group, Egyptolpgist guide was constantly on her phone taking phone calls and repetition the same information again and again, we only had 1 break to stretch our legs on the return journey and it was after 5 hours so we all had cramp. Minibus is very uncomfortable and packed. Guide rushed us from one area to the next not giving us the stated time at each location. Barely had time to take photos and didnt have time to go inside the pyramid because of this. Overall poor experience and would not recommend!

The maximum capacity of the vehicle is 13 passengers in the rear cabin, with 2 drivers in the front. According to the official permit issued by the Ministry of Tourism, the vehicle is authorized to carry no more than 10 tourists. Therefore, it is impossible for the vehicle to have carried 13 tourists. Furthermore, you mentioned that the number increased to 30 guests, which is completely unrealistic and absolutely impossible. The minivan provided is a modern model, subject to regular inspection and strict supervision by the Ministry of Tourism. Accordingly, all the above-mentioned claims do not reflect the truth in any way. The factual situation is that your son has mobility difficulties and requires more than one seat for comfortable seating, which is not feasible in a shared vehicle. In such cases, a private vehicle is required exclusively for your family. This recommendation was clearly communicated to you in advance, in order to ensure your comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip. Despite this, you chose to join a group tour, which was entirely your own decision. Therefore, it is unfair to place the responsibility on us, especially as it was clearly stated in the tour instructions that this trip is long and not suitable for guests with special needs or chronic medical conditions, due to the extended distance and the continuous movement required during the journey. We provided clear advice beforehand; however, the final decision was yours. Nevertheless, blame has been directed toward us, despite the fact that our entire team works tirelessly, day and night, to deliver the best possible service to our guests. This review contains inaccurate and unjustified allegations, which we cannot accept under any circumstances. This was fantastic, yes it is an early start but it is worth it. Communications started the day before which was reassuring. We had a last minute change of hotel which was managed perfectly and without fuss. Our driver was lovely, encouraging us to sleep but we stopped for a break and then ensuring that we have change for the toilet etc. Our guide met us at Cairo and he was wonderful. So informative at the museum and allowed us time to take pictures etc. on arrival at the pyramids he ensure we were ok, encouraging us only to speak to him and he made sure we were no bothered by sellers. Our meal was lovely and we then travelled back to the hotel. Would highly recommend

This maybe a little long, but I feel other disabled travellers or older travellers with limited mobility need to know what can be done if you choose the right company for excursions! The office staff were quick to come back to me regarding whether I would be able to enjoy this trip, and everyone was both extremely helpful, informative and very kind. Nothing was too much trouble and even now I am exhausted and will need to rest for a couple of days I wouldn’t have missed this excursion for the world!! So to start I would say I can walk short distances and I use a mobility scooter which can be broken down. I can also get into a small minivan with the help of someone holding my arm( this the driver did , over and over again for me.( My tip here would be to bring a wee step, the ones you can buy in Dunelm which take up little room in your suitcase) our driver Emad( I’m sorry if this is incorrectly spelled) was a fantastic driver, I’m a nervous passenger and not once was I concerned., even if Cairo traffic is unbelievable, and not in a good way. A big bear of a man , but he looked after us as if we were his own family. The Egyptologist was exceptional ,, so knowledgeable and again very kind and accommodating to my limitations. He not only brought ancient Eygpt alive with his information of the past,he was very easy to understand, his English language was of a very high standard., but also where to take photographs to obtain the best vistas. My daughter and I felt totally safe and secure all day. We covered everything we set out to do and more. Please do not be put off by your limitations, check with this company and if they can help, they will. I should say they reply to messages very quickly too. The drive to Cairo is long, but the roads are good and I managed to sleep some of the way. We are looking forward to going to Luxor in a day or two. So please do yourself a favour, forget the large coaches , please book with this amazing company with total confidence and enjoy a trip of a lifetime!

Went with my two kids 7 and 10 years old. We all had a great time. We visited the national egypt museum in Cairo, a perfume factory, a papyrus factory (short stops) and then of course the pyramids and the sphinx. The guide was friendly and had a lot of knowledge. Both he and the drivers where good with kids. The pros with a small group is that we didn't have to stand in line and wait at the stops, we could easily stop for a toilet break if some one needed or even to buy crisps.

Everything as described. Our group even consisted of only 6 people, which shortened the time for picking up/taking us to/from the hotels and thus the journey. Very good communication in advance with organizers via WhatsApp. There are only no 5 stars, as the stops to rest the drivers took relatively long. Extra praise to the German-speaking guide Mansur, who did the job with love and passion and knew an answer to every question

Belle journée, dépaysement total. Visite un peu trop rapide, pas le temps de tout voir. Après les lieux incontournable la guide nous a emmené dans des lieux propices aux achats (parfumerie, boutique de vente de papyrus, souvenirs...) dont elle percevait une commission sur les ventes. A chaque heures de cette journée, on nous demandait d'acheter ou de donner. La visite des pyramides s'est fait en moins de 20min. A peine le temps de prendre des photos. Si on voulait des photos, les guides les prenait et nous devions donner un pourboire. Cette journée au Caire est à faire mais attention à votre argent, prévoyait des livres égyptiennes.

Vorab: Ich teile zunächst die Erfahrungen der Tour selbst und anschließend den Kundenservice/Kontakt mit dem Operator: - Wir haben die Tour aufgrund des augenscheinlich vernünftigen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses und guten Beschreibung für max. 8 Person gebucht. Positiv: - Unser deutschsprachige Guide (Rasha) war wirklich in jeder Hinsicht top und hat es auch geschafft, die Kinder zu motivieren und Wissen zu vermitteln. - Optionale Bootsfahrt wurde angeboten, aber da niemand Lust hatte, war das auch kein Thema. - Unfalllfreier Transport. Negativ: - Man muss sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass man ziemlich gehetzt wird. 45 Min Pyramiden, 10 Minuten Sphinx (was nicht mal reicht, um näher ranzugehen), 45 Min Ägyptisches Museum. Dafür noch der übliche Kaffeefahrt-Quatsch wie Papyrus-Fabrik und Parfümherstellung. War zwar alles nett und unverbindlich, trotzdem hätten wir unsere Zeit lieber länger bei den Highlights verbracht. - Essen war mittelmäßig, aber alle wurden satt. Getränke kosten extra (3 Euro pro Softdrink etc.) - Trotz max. 8 Personen in der Beschreibung waren 10 Touristen im Minivan. Neben 8 Deutschen auch noch ein russisches Pärchen (später noch mit Zusatz-Guide). Laut Tour Operator ist das "unmöglich", aber fand leider so statt. Auch hatten wir eigentlich für 2 Personen mehr gebucht, sodass die Tour eigentlich mit 12 Personen überbucht war. - Anfahrt insgesamt recht chaotisch. Wir wurden als erste abgeholt und je nachdem wie viele Leute dazukommen, dauert das dann zwischen 1 und 1,5 Stunden, bis man mal losfährt. Zudem wird noch ein anderer Fahrer irgendwo aufgelesen, ein anderer steigt aus, die Kollegen machen eine Raucherpause oder sonstige Pause ohne ersichtlichen Grund. Man darf keine großen Ansprüche an die Fahrt an sich haben (hatten wir auch nicht), aber war schon etwas anstrengend. - Inklusive Eintrittspreise sollte man sich sparen. Wir haben das so gebucht, weil ich mir den Stress sparen wollte, selbst Schlange zu stehen. Rückwirkend gab es jedoch nirgendwo nennenswerte Schlangen und den Aufpreis über die Vorabbuchung kann man sich sparen und Tickets vor Ort kaufen. Zur Info: Ägyptisches Museum kostet 550 bzw. 275 AED (ermäßigt), die Pyramiden 700 bzw. 350 AED. Zum Kundenservice: Da zwei Personen spontan nicht mitkommen konnten, hatte ich zunächst den Operator bzgl. Teilerstattung von Eintrittsgeldern kontaktiert, da diese ja nicht verwendet wurde. Vor Ort kauft der Guide die Tickets direkt. Operator verwies auf den Viator-Kundenservice. Dieser antwortet zwar sehr schnell, aber leider sehr automatisiert. Hat angeblich sehr schnell eine Rückmeldung vom Operator bekommen, dass kein Refund möglich wäre. Eskalation ist ein Witz und seitdem melden sich der Kundenservice gar nicht mehr. Auf die Frage der Überbuchung wurde gar nicht eingegangen. Habe dann nochmal den Tour Operator per WhatsApp angeschrieben, der mir im Prinzip geantwortet hat, dass nicht sein kann, was nicht sein darf, mich also indirekt der Lüge bezichtigt. Habe freundlich geantwortet, doch bitte die Fahrer zu kontaktieren. Seit dem kam nichts mehr zurück. Wollte diese Erfahrung trotzdem teilen, und auch deshalb erneut raten, keine Eintrittsgelder vorab zu bezahlen.

You did not mention that the reservation was completed and we sent our drivers to the hotel on time, and two members of your group decided not to go on the trip, and their decision was very late, at the meeting time at the hotel. This is despite you being fully aware that this cancellation does not guarantee a refund for the trip, according to Tripadvisor's cancellation policy. However, since then, you have written to us requesting a refund for the trip. It was explained that you are not entitled to a refund. You didn't stop writing to us and blackmailing us in every way. You pressured us daily by writing to us day and night, and finally, you told us that if you didn't get your trip money back, or part of it, you would write a bad review about our trip. This is an untrue and unfair claim. On that day, there were other customers who wrote wonderful comments because they were completely satisfied with the trip. We are fully aware that if we had refunded your trip money, you would have written us a very good review because you were happy and pleased with the trip. How can we refund you even though your request violates the refund policies of TripAdvisor and all travel companies worldwide? How can you cancel your trip 10 minutes before the trip starts without any clear compelling reasons and still want a full refund? Who will bear these expenses? Customers are free to write reviews, whether positive or negative. However, your claim is completely unfounded and violates the rules and regulations of international travel companies.
