Further to our conversation this morning, I would like to say that, after waiting for 1hour a car turned up to take us to our small English speaking tour. However when getting on the bus, it was not English speaking. Them Neither the driver or tour guide spoke to us, we then drove for a while and stopped, we didn’t know what for and nobody told us. This my wife found very worrying and started to stress her. We were then told we were meeting with a car with someone who spoke English. Not what we paid for as we prefer a small group, that’s what we booked for. The whole day was supposed to be all inclusive, so was surprised when we were asked to pay, it also stated we had paid to go into the spinks, which was was also expected to pay again for. The mini bus was also very uncomfortable for a long trip , not your usual standard. We was expecting a lovely day out, but all we got was worry, stress, extremely sore back and less money than expected So I request a small refunded. Many thanks, I’ll be waiting for your response.

It was cancelled however we didn’t know that until 1 hr 20 mins after the tour should have started and after waiting around for 45 mins before giving up and going back to bed.

Great trip to Cairo with my family including 2 young children. Air con transport from Hurghada was good with lots of drinks provided. Very knowledgeable tour guide who was very helpful.

An excellent trip after was initially cancelled last minute. Our tour guide Mandour was absolutely brilliant, helpful, and highly passionate and we had a great time. Even with the long drive this is a brilliant tour and well worth the cost and we absolutely loved it.

Very good experience with our guide Sherrieff. He was very good and informative. He organised a nice restaurant for lunch, camel ride and Bedouin. All suitable for my 14 and 7 year old kids.

Memories of a lifetime trip to Cairo

We had a wonderful trip from Hurghada to Cairo & Giza. Right from the start we were picked up at our scheduled time from our hotel. There were two drivers who made us feel very welcomed, safe and comfortable on our journey. We travelled in an air conditioned van with 5 other people. The group is small which gives a more personalised experience. The drive was pleasant early in the morning and we slept until the rest stops for use of the toilet and can buy food and drink. Water and snacks were included on our vehicle journey also. Once in Cairo we first stopped at the Egyptian Museum of antiquities all tickets included. We met our lovely welcoming tour guide who was very knowledgeable and spoke many languages. Our tour guide also gave us useful tips on how to avoid the tourist scams and hustlers. He also best advised us on where to shop for souvenirs at a reasonable price, if you wanted to and no pressure to buy or do any other activity if you didn’t want to. He was unlike any other tourist guide made our trip run very efficiently and smoothly the extra knowledge and advice of Egyptian culture in the city of Cairo this made our trip so much more enjoyable. We stopped for perfume shop for 30 minutes you could try purfume and have tea or coffee but you are not obligated to buy anything. Afterwards we went for our included lunch at a buffet restaurant which was very good. Drinks are extra charge. Then we went to visit the pyramids of Giza and the Sphynx. Which is included ticket admission. If you want to as extra activity your guide will organise a camel ride Our experience I would 100% recommend! This was absolutely fantastic the men take very good panoramic pictures. Also horse and carnage is extra option. This is paid in cash Egyptian, 500 aprox. ( March 2024) We returned in good time. It’s a long day as expected from Hurghada from 2am to 10pm we would recommend to bring a neck pillow for sleeping and your own snacks and water. I would 100% recommend this tour experience.

Aunque fueron puntuales al recogernos en el hotel, la experiencia con el guía fue bastante desagradable: en primer lugar, solicitamos un guía en español, aunque hablamos inglés y alemán queríamos disfrutar la experiencia en nuestro idioma, el guía hablaba un mal inglés, en segundo lugar cuando el guía se unió al grupo en El Cairo, movió a uno de los clientes de asiento de la furgoneta de una forma poco educada indicándole "Ahora aquí iré yo", en lugar de pedir por favor ceder el asiento. Cuando entramos al museo de El Cairo fue bastante breve en sus intervenciones y no aportó información relevante pues estaba más preocupado por vender un viaje en barco por el rio Nilo y otro en camellos alrededor de las pirámides de Giza. El guía discutió con otro cliente por 100 libras egipcias durante el trayecto del viaje por el rio Nilo dañando totalmente el ambiente en el que se esperaba disfrutar, sinceramente mi pareja y yo no disfrutamos el momentoFue una experiencia desagradable tanto la discusión con el cliente como la insistencia de vender la experiencia de montar camellos cuando claramente se le indicó que no estabamos interesados.
