Very good experience Both drivers are very polite and friendly. Excellent car and driving was safe. However, Nile cruise is completely waste of money and could have spent more time near peramids or in egyptian museum

Our guide Ahmad was excellent very knowledgable and very clear with the itinerary. The small group meant no hold ups. Long trip but the drivers really looked after us. We’ve seen the pyramids 🙂🙂🙂🙂

What we received. The pickup time was 1.30 am the driver was late picking us up by nearly 30 min. Then they took us to another part of the city were probably around 40.min drive. After reaching the destination, we were told that we will need to get on a big bus with more than 35 people(a big standard group). To our surprise, we have booked specially a small group tour with up to 15 people, according to the tour operator. We were then told that they could not provide a minibus for us and that we needed to join another group. In reality, when the bus arrived, it was full of people from 3 different groups: English-speaking, German-speaking and French-speaking. The bus was very uncomfortable and we could not enjoy the ride as I am 6'4 tall and could not fit in the seat. Up on arrival in Cairo we picked up a tour guide, who then said that we needed to combine all groups and that they would be translating into three languages. The tour guide then changed the itinerary to how they felt suited. We visited The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities first. We were then taken on the extra Nile cruise, which was not on the list, we had to pay extra for it (EGP 1000). The total trip was for about 30 mins. We could have skipped the Nile cruise, but then we'd have to sit in the hot bus until the rest of the passengers returned. Then we were taken to the papyrus factory which was not on the list again and were asked to buy souvenirs where we have spend unnecessary 30-45 mins. We were then taken to a lunch spot where we were rushed because of the added stops of the nile cruise and the papyrus factory, and there was not enough food for everyone, so we were left hungry. Then we were taken to the great pyramid and then moved to the third pyramid and after the Great Sphinx. We were then taken to an additional stop at the perfume factory, where we wasted over 1 hour, completely wasting our time. The whole itinerary did not follow the schedule that was described. On the journey back the bus stopped near the city again for us to be told to change busses for another to take us to our hotel. The whole trip was over 24 hours and not 20-hour maximum

Please let me tell you that Cairo day trip from Hurghada is a product listed with 3 options. 1- Cairo day trip by bus ( brand new Mercedes 2022, as you posted the photo in the review ), it's a group tour Including perfume Palace and papyrus Institute shopping stops in the itinerary with optional Nile cruise for 10$ each as described. That's the one you described in your review, and that's the one you had paid for ( please check your payment). 2- Small group Max 8 people, by a minibus including Nile cruise without any shopping stops or optional activities. It costs more of course!! 3- Private Cairo day trip, that we make it the way you like, as you decide what to do and what to escape. I'm afraid you picked up the wrong option group tour, not small group 8 pax tour. We are sorry for your unpleasant experience.

Trip à faire au moins une fois en séjour en Égypte. Sur le transport: que vous voyagiez en minibus 12 places ou bus ou grand bus, la longueur du voyage reste pénible. La route parfois chaotique comme la circulation voire les regroupements au check point pour escorte des convois de touristes le matin rendent l'aller particulièrement pénible. Nous avons perdu ainsi 2h à attendre. Surtout à ne pas faire avec des enfants trop jeunes. Plus 7h de route avec quelques arrêts. Le chauffeur M. Saad a été très performant. Une belle personne généreuse même s'il a des progrès à faire en matière de soucis du client (qui veut dormir puisqu'il est debout depuis 1h du matin). Bref Saad a bien fait son job surtout au Caire... assez épique ! Sur les visites et le guide: l'entrée des points à visiter concernait la visite du musée du Caire, puis l'accès au site extérieur des pyramides et du sphinx. Pas de visite de l'intérieur des pyramides. Par contre 2 arrêts dans des commerces de papyrus et de parfums... sans aucun intérêt. La balade en calèche ou dromadaire pour parcourir les 3 pyramides de Gyzeh valent le coup. On accède ainsi à un beau point de vu assez éloigné à pied: 2 km A/R dans le sable. Le guide de bonne foi a essayé de rattraper le temps perdu le matin sur la route au prix d'un empressement un peu dommage au musée. Il a été de très bonne compagnie pour l'ambiance générale du petit groupe de 8 personnes. Les visites prévues valent vraiment le détour. C'est un vrai voyage dans l'histoire de l'humanité. Une expérience unique, pour nous et nos enfants. Elles justifient les 4 étoiles et la dureté du voyage en véhicule.
