It is a bit of a hike from the welcome centre to the steps going down to the ocean floor - maybe 15 minutes. There is a shuttle available for $2 each way, but my sister and I (both seniors) enjoyed the walk. It is worthwhile seeing the rocks at both high tide and low tide. This is a site not to be missed.

I am so glad that we had an opportunity to see the tides on the Bay of Fundy. We timed it so that we were able to walk down on the ocean floor. I wish the park had longer hours, so that we could see the Rocks at high tide.
I also was surprised that the employees didn't know much about the tidal bore that we were able to observe in downtown Moncton.

Hopewell Rock is a phenomenal experience. A couple of things to know: Viator voucher is super easy - you pull up the voucher go to the entrance of Hopewell Park and they give you a receipt which is your tickets for 2 days of admission. Check the time of the rides before you go - we got there early at park open (8 am) and low tide was at 9:20 so we got to walk the ocean floor. There are plenty of washrooms along the path to get to the rocks. We returned at 3 pm that same time to see it all at high tide. It is amazing the shift and tide and difference.

So cool. Wonderful hike and experience. Facilities were clean and restaurant on site. Very nice day!

Visiting Hopewell Rocks was definitely one of the highlights of our road trip. We arrived about two hours after low tide and still had plenty of time to walk on the ocean floor and explore. As we wandered through other areas of the park, the tide was rising, so we got to see the water at different stages. We stayed for roughly four hours and were able to cover all the main spots. Highly recommended!

Amazing to see the flower pots and walk around them during low tide and then they are in the water a few hours later.

It is a very interesting place to visit, walking on the ocean floor. If timed correctly for low tide the rock pillars are amazing . I recommend taking the shuttle if a person in your group tires easily

Although there are lots of steps and walking it is definately worth the trip. So beautiful and would do it again

Make sure you check the tide schedule. Bring walking it is rocky and/or water shoes if you plan on getting your feet wet in the water.

Absolutely a must!
Come for the high tide and stay for the low tide. There is a playground for kids, a restaurant and wonderful pathways! The experience is worth every penny! Check out the gift store, very tempting ;)

Visited Hopewell Rocks during our trip to New Brunswick, Canada, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The park's stunning natural beauty, with its towering flowerpot-shaped rocks carved by the Bay of Fundy's powerful tides, left us in awe.
The park's facilities were well-maintained, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The guided tour was informative and enhanced our understanding of the area's unique geology and ecosystem.
Whether you're interested in nature, geology, or simply looking for a unique experience, Hopewell Rocks is a must-visit destination.

it is far away from Saint John and no bus to there. You need to rent a car( the car rental shop opening time is diffrent in the weekends) You can see the rocks with diffrent shapes, water coming and go

Walking on the ocean floor with the stunning formations all around us. It was breathtaking! The area was fun to visit, a very nice gift shop and an area where food and drinks are available. It's beautifully laid out, clean and easy to reach. I'm very impressed with the effort that has been given to make it accessible to everyone.

We arrived for 9am as the centre opened and walked down to the shoreline. Lowest tide had been 30 mins earlier but tide was still a long way out. The rock formations were incredible. Spent a leisurely hour to 90 mins on floor and tide was coming in but appeared to be quite slowly. Wandered to the ramp to walk back up and enjoyed a hot chocolate at the cafe. We then had a walk around trails and stayed down until the tide reached its highest at 2.19pm. It was amazing. The rocks we had stood under were now under water. Highest tide for a long time apparently at 13.9m.

Great experience being able to walk on the ocean floor and then watch where you had walked get covered in water. Food at cafe was also great!

We visited the park at low tide . It was amazing to walk on the bay floor and have the rocks towering overhead.

Just a lovely afternoon. Picturesque. Memorable. Challenging for those with mobility issues. Great to bring along our pup.

What an incredible experience! We went at high tide and low tide..absolutely beautiful! Only been touched by Mother Nature!
MARYLY_S, Jul 2024
The tide was at low tide so we were able to walk among the rocks. They were magnificent. We were amazed at the rock formations and the mud that the tide left behind. It was well worth taking the time to visit this natural wonder.
Leslie_L, Sep 2023
An amazing natural site and phenomenon. Interpretive centre was well done.
Improvements to the booking system could be made. No separate line for those who pre purchased tickets. It was no more convenient or faster than buying tickets at the site.

It was closed we didn't get to go, we want a refund as we didn't attend. This is not a great experience
Michelle_W, Aug 2023
What a beautiful day visiting the rocks and walking the trails! We will definitely go back when we can walk the ocean floor!
Troy_F, Aug 2023
It was quiet and the view was beautiful and the tour guide knew his stuff. You have the option to take the shuttle but I recommend you walk the paths to the sites.
