The Corrie Ten Boom experience with Manual was very moving and also thorough (if you’ve read the book, you’ll understand). We walked quite a way and I had my 75 year old mother with me who with my help was quite able to keep up (but only just!) The tour will go the full two+ hours and then some so don’t book anything too close as you may miss the ending. Manual as a tour guide is one of the best I’ve had. We did two tours with him (also Anne Frank walking tour) and he was brilliant on both. His passion for the story he tells is obvious and you won’t be disappointed. BRILLIANT!!!

Though the weather sucked, our guide most definitely did not. He was capable, knowledgeable, and professional. His knowledge of the tour and history was well worth the cost. You could tell even he enjoyed it as he didn’t notice the time, and kept telling us interesting details over 30 minutes after the tour was supposed to end.

This was a very informative and fun tour. Our tour guide Manuel is a great story teller and very knowledgeable about the details surrounding the Ten Boom family and the history in Haarlem during World War II We highly recommend this tour.

This a MUST if you are visiting Haarlam! We had the best experience! Our tour guide was very thorough and answered all of our questions! He even included additional points of interest. Highly recommend!!
